This military inspired product is rugged, lightweight, compact, and made in the U.S.A. Quikcord is versatile in that it stores, cuts, and dispenses paracord tangle-free every time. It also comes with a built-in emergency nighttime signaling device, which can also be used as a temporary flashlight.
Quikcord is about striking a balance between organization and ease of carry for paracord. Founder Matthew Adams spent over 8 years in the United States Marine Corps. While working with paracord frequently; not only did he understand its importance; but was looking for ways to improve it. Quikcord created the quick and easy way to maximize the utility of paracord.

Quikcord is made from a high impact polypropylene copolymer that offers excellent low temperature impact resistance as well. Simple practicality and quality craftsmanship go into every one. Two U.S. patents. Ethically manufactured in the United States.
One of the most common utility problem Matthew Adams and his fellow Marines had was managing paracord. The trials and tribulations with 550 cord and having to MacGyver ways to prevent the issues became cumbersome for most military personnel.
“From multiple deployments to the Middle East; along with some of the toughest training the U.S. Military has to offer, I found myself in multiple situations where something broke and needed to be fixed. FAST! Paracord was the answer but it was always a tangled mess.”
” I started stacking my paracord with various miscellaneous items but nothing was sustainable. The feedback I got inspired me to create a tough, time saving tool that is now Quikcord.” – Matthew Adams

We started off with preliminary paper sketches of Quikcord to show design engineers our idea. Eventually we leaned towards a veteran engineering team to help us develop to military specifications. We have gone through six 3D printed prototypes to conclude with this latest design.
We also experimented with many various plastics and came to the conclusion that a polypropylene copolymer was the way to go; offering excellent low temperature impact as well as physical strength and resistance.
There was never a discussion about building the product anywhere else besides the United States. We felt a moral obligation to help create jobs and support our U.S economy. We have secured all injection modeling to take place at Cardamundi in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts – servicing major reputable companies; such as Hasbro for many years. https://www.cartamundi.com/us/en

This is our 1st Kickstarter Campaign. Learning from successful past colleagues who have worked within the Kickstarter ecosystem, we’ve done everything possible to streamline all of our processes behind the scenes and we are working with the same trusted manufacturer on this project that we’ve been working with for the past 3 years during prototype phases. We’ve worked out all the fine details far ahead of time as well as built-in a 2-week buffer in our delivery timeline just in case something unexpectedly occurs. And in case of any issues, we are completely transparent to our backers.
Our biggest challenge would be not raising our funding goal, but we know that you won’t let that happen! THANK YOU!
Our target shipping dates for all backers is early February 2020. We would love to ship even earlier and we will do everything we can to make this happen. We may have added productions batches if our backers responded well more than expected, and the shipping dates will be put in order according to how early you backed, extra production units can be added for February delivery, but our goal is to get the Quikcord in all backers hands right after the holidays. Look at it as a bonus ending holiday gift!

Quikcord’s design is made to military specifications on the lines of strength, portability, and easy user experience.
Quikcord is meant to be used for decades. The plastic specifications is:
Polypropylene – a recyclable thermoplastic polymer widely used in many different products. PP is rugged and resistant to different chemical solvents, acids, and bases. PP’s resin identification code is 5.
The minimalist design of Quikcord takes two things into account. The least amount of polypropylene copolymer for the design while maintaining full military specifications. Every design component besides the 4 screws that hold the shell together are recyclable.
Cardimundi follows the sustainability development goals (SDG’s) launched by the United Nations in September 2015.
