Can I customize my box? You sure can! We fully appreciate that not every Aussie household uses all 10 of the products we’ve developed. Some people don’t have a dishwasher. Other people don’t like using bodywash…Don’t sweat, we’ve got you covered. If there’s an item(s) in the “Starter Box” that you don’t want, or don’t use, you can swap it out for another item(s) of similar value – for example, if you don’t want bodywash you can swap it for an extra handwash etc. At the conclusion of our Kickstarter campaign we’ll email you to confirm exactly what items you want in your “Starter Box”. Read the FAQs for more details.
Can I just order the refills and use my own dispensers? Yes you can! At the conclusion of our Kickstarter campaign we’ll email you to confirm exactly what items you want in your “Starter Box”. Read the FAQs for more details.
How long will the “Starter Box” last? The volume of each individual product inside our “Starter Box” has been specifically created so that most products will run out at about the same time. We’ve done this to make things easier for you when it comes to purchasing refills. Based on our research, our “Starter Box” will last the average family of 4 approx. 2-3 months. Read the FAQs for more details.
What happens when I run out? When your dispensers start to run low, simply jump onto our website and order some refills. You can order any product, in any quantity, delivered direct to your door (carbon neutral), anytime. It’s really simple. There’s no lock in contracts, no minimum orders, no subscriptions, no BS.
Every time you re-order, we’ll send you a postage-paid return envelope so you can return your empty sachets from your current order and any previous orders all at the same time. Read the FAQs for more details.
Where do you deliver: We deliver (carbon neutral) Australia wide. Once we’re up and running, we’ll aim to deliver direct to your door within 3-5 business days. Read the FAQs for more details.
We’ve been working our little butts-off trying to solve the plastic problem. Over the past 12mths we’ve drilled down all the way into the nitty-gritty details to build a comprehensive plan to launch Zero Co. But no matter how much planning we’ve done, the reality is that this is a start-up. There are risks and challenges that lie ahead. Here are some of the key ones we’ve identified:
1. Maybe you won’t like our products:
Don’t sweat, we’ve got you covered with our 100% 30-day money back guarantee. That means if you’re not 100% satisfied with our products, send them back to us within 30 days and we’ll refund your hard earned cash.
2. What happens if we don’t hit our fundraising target?
Kickstarter is an all or nothing funding platform. That means if we don’t hit our funding target, all money is refunded to supporters. It’s essentially another money-back guarantee.
3. What happens if there are problems with our manufacturing process?
We’re working with one of Australia’s largest contract manufacturers of environmentally-friendly products. They currently manufacture for A LOT of big-name supermarket brands and have confirmed that they have capacity to deliver our products on time and on budget.
4. Do we have the experience to pull-off a project as big as this?
Zero Co founder Mike Smith has been building start-ups for the past 10yrs+. He has successfully scaled a number of businesses. The senior management supporting Mike at Zero Co have extensive experience in their respective fields. The investment team and board are world-class entrepreneurs, business people and investors with decades of experience at the highest levels of business. Together this diverse group of professionals have outstanding credentials to deliver a project like Zero Co.
5. What’s to stop us running away to the Caribbean with all your money?
Zero Co founder Mike Smith has invested most of his life savings into this project. He’s not getting a cent of that money back until the company starts to turn a profit. He’s got at least 100,000 reasons not to disappear to the Caribbean.
