Hey! We are the Fotobus Society. We are more than 400 photography students studying at 29 different German and European universities and schools. Our 30 years old blue bus is basically a photo school on wheels. It takes us to festivals, conferences and workshops. We also do photographic group projects, exhibitions and exchange programs with international partner universities and institutions. The project is build on solidarity and respect. We help each other out. We’re a bit like a family. Fotobus journeys are free of charge for every student who shares our passion for photography.
Our annual publication is called Further and this crowdfunding campaign will help us to produce it. We spent the past few months discussing, editing and creating dummies of the very first issue of Further. The publication offers 320 pages packed with projects by our members, representing a cross section of young, engaged photography. Further shows work by a new generation of photographers that aims to challenge the status quo. It’s a generation that works on long-term projects, emphasises personal motivation, responsibility and authorship and thinks and acts in a highly critical way.

We love you all. Thank you. Honestly. Thank you.
Our annual publication Further will definitely be published. All tote bags and prints will be ready in December 2019. We’ve done all this before and we are good with deadlines. The worst thing that might happen could be a delay in the production of the publication for reasons that we cannot entirely control, like printing and binding capacity, paper availability etc.
