4. There will be a folder window. All your Windows OS system documents are situated here. Search for the ‘                        CompatTelRunner ‘ folder

5. Right-click the CompatTelRunner file and grab characteristics, as in the image below

6. Only click the Security tab from the top when the Properties dialog box opens. Locate advanced configurations            on the underside of the Security tab once inside. Click it now. Click it.

7. There’s going to be a new window. In this window, find the Owner button at the bottom.

9. Select Administrators and press Apply when you see the Edit button. Save your changes now.

10. Save your changes. You could see here a prompt to close all the windows of the properties. You have done                     possession of this file effectively. Click OK.

11. You must also alter the file permission before you can delete this file. Just straight in the System32 directory,                Capattelrunner.exe, which you started
12. Click Properties and go as you did previously to Advanced Tab. Select the Permit tab from here, and in the next            window select your administrator account.

13. Now, next to Full Control, press the permit column. All permissions linked to this particular file should be given.        That’s what we need for this file to be deleted.

14. Return to System32, just delete the CompatTelRunner.exe file to delete Telemetry compatibility.

15. Click the recycle bin on the right and then choose Empty Recycle Bin.
