Kevin MacDonald joined Sun Microsystems in 2000 where he was responsible for bringing Suns newest technologies to market including J2EE and RFID. He drove early adoption of those technologies in Suns top 100 accounts including Fidelity, BMS and Pfizer. Kevin left Sun in late 2004 to join an RFID start-up where he led the software product team as well as strategic account teams. There he was also responsible for closing some of the largest RFID projects in history and he led their successful implementation. Some of Kevins clients included Airbus, Smith & Nephew and Johnson & Johnson. In 2011, Kevin co-founded Kit Check where he serves as co-founder and CEO. Kevin has been responsible for the companys operations and customer development efforts. He developed Kit Checks early marquee customers including University of Maryland Medical Center and NYU Langone.
