Mr. James B. DeBello was named President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2003. He has served as a director of Mitek since 1994. Since joining Mitek Systems as CEO, Mr. DeBello has transformed the Company into a leading developer of smartphone applications that leverage the capabilities of the cell phone camera and address high growth markets. Prior to being named Chief Executive Officer, he served as Chief Executive Officer of AsiaCorp Communications from 2001 to May 2003. Prior to that, he served as Venture CEO of IdeaEdge Ventures from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of CollegeClub.com from 1999 to 2000, Chief Operating Officer of Wireless Knowledge in 1998, a joint venture between Qualcomm and Microsoft, and Vice President and General Manager of Qualcomm’s Eudora Internet Division from 1996 to 1998.
Julie Cunningham is responsible for creating and executing DriveCams corporate communications efforts worldwide.
Prior to joining DriveCam, Ms. Cunningham served in executive-level global communications roles at technology companies ranging from early-stage growth to Fortune 500.
Ms. Cunningham was Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Mitek and Novatel Wireless, and Managing Director at The Blueshirt Group.
Previously, she was Senior Vice President at QUALCOMM, where she was responsible for investor relations, corporate communications and public relations during a decade of the companys rapid growth.
Ms. Cunningham began her career at Linkabit Corporation, which incubated more than 200 technology companies.
Ms. Cunningham holds a bachelors degree in business administration/marketing, and completed graduate programs in investor relations and executive leadership at the University of Michigan and Stanford University, respectively.
Dr. Grigori Neponmniachtchi serves as Chief Technology Officer and leads Mitek’s scientific research staff in the United States and Russia. He is an accomplished international expert in image preprocessing, and has played a principle role developing Mitek’s industry leading IMagePROVE recognition technologies for cell phone camera applications.
Prior to becoming CTO in September 2003, Dr. Neponmniachtchi served as Mitek’s Chief Scientist between 1999 and 2003. He joined Mitek in 1996 as Staff Scientist.

He brings over two decades of experience innovating in the information and analytics business, with a particular focus in payments and financial services. In 2002, Bruce co-founded and led ID Analytics as its Chairman and CEO from inception until its sale to LifeLock in March 2012. At ID Analytics, Hansen raised $45 million in venture financing and built the company from concept-stage into a high growth, profitable firm serving over 280 enterprise clients and 5 million consumers.
Prior to founding ID Analytics, Hansen was President at HNC Software Inc. (NASDAQ: HNCS), a $1 billion+ global provider of analytic software solutions for financial services, telecommunications and healthcare firms. HNC was acquired by Fair Isaac (FICO) in 2002. Prior to HNC, Hansen held executive roles at the Center for Adaptive Systems Applications (CASA), Citicorp (now CitiGroup), Automatic Data Processing, Inc.
