Lauren Gegg joined SMS Assist in 2005 as the Compliance Manager. Over the last 8 years, she has built the Compliance Department and oversees all contract, insurance, W9 and I9 compliancy for SMS Assist’s affiliate network of over 20,000 affiliates. Ms. Gegg quickly became the Vice President of Compliance and has developed the department with processes, procedures, training and ensures compliancy of all affiliates who work with SMS Assist. The Compliance Department plays a vital part in protecting SMS Assist and all customers who work with our company from liability and safety concerns. Ms. Gegg also manages all claims and claim legal proceedings for SMS Assist. She works with all SMS Assist customers to ensure indemnity and defense obligations are being met and protected.

Dave Spector is an entrepreneur and former VC currently working on the next big thing in e-commerce. Prior he was a partner at Sequoia Capital focusing on consumer internet, e-commerce, and analytics having invested in a number of companies. Before Sequoia, Dave was at IBM and Google, helping to lead the companies first efforts in B2B and commerce with the launch of Google Checkout, Product Search, Analytics (Urchin) and Enterprise. He’s also the founder of two previous tech companies. He is a graduate of Tulane University and MIT.

Alfred focused on bringing focus, strategy and financial discipline in order to grow the business efficiently and profitably. Prior to joining Zappos, Alfred served as VP of Finance and Business Development at Tellme Networks, helping grow that business from no revenue to over $120M in recurring revenue per year, 30% cash margins and a $0.5B estimated contracted revenue backlog.
