UnboundID, founded in December 2007, is a developer of highly scalable identity management software, designed for consumer-facing applications such as online retail sites or social networking sites such as [Twitter](http://www.crunchbase.com/company/twitter). As part of their vision of building next-generation identity management solutions, UnboundID provides directory services capable of managing high volumes of user identity information for customer-based enterprises at high speeds. UnboundID offers a Java-based LDAP SDK free for download on its website as a first installment in their family of solutions.
UnboundID was founded by four veterans of [Sun Microsystems](http://www.crunchbase.com/company/sun-microsystems) shortly after Sun closed its Austin-based identity management product division. In June 2008, UnboundID signed a deal with a large telecommunications company, and in December received funding from venture capital firm [Silverton Partners](http://www.crunchbase.com/financial-organization/silverton-partners).

Steve defines the vision and overall business strategy for UnboundID. He is internationally recognized as a trusted adviser on identity and security issues for Global 100 companies.
At Sun Microsystems, he served as Technical Director and Chief of Staff for the Identity Management product division, as well as Director of Global Engineering and Support for the Directory Server Product Family. At Netscape Communications, he was Senior Product Manager for Directory and Security.
He co-founded the OpenDS and SLAMD open source projects and performs technical due-diligence for venture capital firms. He has also been a key technical adviser to the US Department of Justice.
As Vice President of Sales, Michael is responsible for Global Sales for UnboundID.
Michael is a seasoned sales executive with an extensive track record of building winning sales teams, over achieving sales goals, and driving organizational success.
Prior to UnboundID, Michael served in key sales leadership roles with Oracle, RightNow Technology (acquired by Oracle), InQuira (acquired by Oracle), Aptean, Surgient, and Onyx, overseeing the generation of $275 million in direct revenue. Michael’s brings extensive expertise to UnboundID with working in global organizations to define industry solutions to drive optimal experiences for their customers.
He holds a BBA from the University of North Texas.
Emeka Obianwu leads partner, channel and other market expansion opportunities for the UnboundID Directory Services software platform.
Prior to joining UnboundID, Emeka led Corporate Development for Troux Technologies, where he built strategic go-to-market alliances. Previously, he oversaw Business Development at BuildForge, which was acquired by IBM in 2006. Following the acquisition, Emeka worked with the IBM Rational business development team to identify new growth markets and channels for the IBM Rational brand.
He is a seasoned executive in enterprise software and strategy consulting, and holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
Andy Land provides strategic marketing direction for UnboundID. In his current role as Vice President of Marketing, he is responsible for product marketing, corporate branding, and lead generation activities.
Previously, Andy served as Director of Product Management for UnboundID where he owned product strategy and direction.
Prior to UnboundID, Andy served as Senior Director of Product Management at Alterpoint and Director of Product Management at Sun Microsystems. His background also includes broad-based experience in marketing, product management, and sales at Motive, Vignette, Verizon, and Abbott Laboratories. Andy began his career as a United States Naval Officer and is a veteran of the first Gulf War.
He is active in the Austin community, serving on the board of directors for The BeHive, a non-profit after-school program for children.
As Vice President, Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, Corey has primary responsibility for all aspects of financial management at UnboundID.
When he was Managing Director for [vcfo in Austin](http://www.vcfo.com), Cory led operations and client relations for more than50 companies in industries such as enterprise software, energy, life sciences, financial services, semiconductor and telecommunications.
Previously, he served as VP of Finance for CoVi Technologies, Inc. Corey brings a rich background in non-profit and volunteer work including terms as Past President and Statewide Treasurer of Texchange, as President of Reading is Fundamental of Austin (BookSpring), as Treasurer of the Austin Technology Council and the Clean TX Foundation, and as a Board Member of the Trail Foundation.
He and his family were named the March of Dimes-Capital Area Ambassador Family for 2004. He holds a BBA in accounting and an MBA from Baylor University.
Dave provides strategic leadership for the software development team at UnboundID.
Through previous executive product positions with Quest Software, Surgient, Motive Communications, and Tivoli Systems, he has garnered nearly 25 years of experience leading the development of high technology products targeted to IT buyers.
Dave has a lengthy track record of delivering world-class software products ranging from operating systems to enterprise distributed systems, while building and motivating teams and helping them to achieve their personal career objectives.
He holds a BS in computer science from the University of Oklahoma.
Gregg Burt is the Managing Partner of Vitesse Capital Partners and serves as Chairman of the Board of Hart InterCivic.
Previously, Gregg served as President and CEO of Hart, steering the company through a management buyout from its investors and a successful turnaround.
Before joining Hart, Gregg was CEO of BuildForge, Inc., where he led the dramatic growth of this early stage enterprise software start-up.
Gregg holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS from the University of Southern California.
Morgan Flager joined Silverton in 2006. Prior to joining Silverton, Morgan worked with FTVentures in San Francisco, where he focused on software & services companies in the financial services industry.
Prior to FTVentures Morgan served as Director of Business Development at Ingrian Networks, a leading data privacy and information security solution provider. Earlier in his career, Morgan co-founded Woosh, a $30 million venture funded by HP, which developed e-commerce infrastructure solutions.
Morgan received his BS from Stanford University.
Adam is a Managing Director at OpenView, where he focuses on investing in and building companies in several sectors, including SaaS and technology enabled businesses.
Prior to joining OpenView, Adam worked as a Vice President at Battery Ventures focusing on investments in marketing software and e-commerce. At Battery, Adam was on the Board of J. Hilburn and a Board Observer at Exact Target and was actively involved with Cortera.
Prior to Battery, Adam was Director of Corporate Development for The Boston Celtics, where he led strategic initiatives for the team. He also worked at Lycos (sold to Telefonica), where he was responsible for M&A, private equity and joint venture investment within North America, Europe and Asia.
Earlier in his career, Adam worked in Business Development at Gamesville.com (sold to Lycos) and at Tripod.com, which was an early innovator in the online community space (sold to Lycos).
Prior to founding Silverton Partners, Bill Wood began his venture career in 1984 as a founding partner of Austin Ventures which has since become one of the largest venture capital firms in the country.
Bill is a past recipient of both the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur-of-the-Year Award and the Austin Technology Pillar Award, recognizing his lifetime contribution to the development of the Austin technology community.
Bill received his BA from Brown University Phi Beta Kappa and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Andy Spillane is responsible for product and engineering at AddThis. With a background that includes internet technology companies such as Netscape, AOL, and Yahoo!, Andy has over 20 years of experience in design, development, and product management.

Bill Bock is President of Silicon Laboratories Inc., a member of the Board of Directors of Silicon Labs and Entropic Communications, and a Senior Advisor to Foros, a financial services firm. Bock is chairman and co-founder of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas and participated in the venture capital industry from 2001 to 2006, primarily as a general partner with CenterPoint Ventures.
Previously, as CEO of Dazel Corporation, Bock led the company from early growth through its sale to HP. Before Dazel, Bill was Executive Vice President and COO at Tivoli Systems and was instrumental in the company’s initial public offering and subsequent merger with IBM.
Bill holds a BS in Computer Science from Iowa State University and received his MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon.
As Vice President of Sales, Jeff Bolke is responsible for overseeing all sales related functions. His primary objective is to drive the long-term growth and profitability of the company through the acquisition and development of customer relationships.
Jeff brings over 20 years of domestic and international enterprise software experience to Accruent. Prior to joining Accruent, he served on the executive teams at UnboundID, Zag.com, DataCert, Motive, and Trilogy. Jeff started his career with IBM as a marketing representative in Houston, Texas.
Jeff earned a bachelors degree in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
