With more than 20 years as a leader in the EPM sector, Fred has built his career focusing on providing solutions that help organizations worldwide achieve financial and business excellence.
Prior to Anaplan, Fred was the SVP and GM for SAP Applications for EPM, GRC, and Finance Line of Business.
Fred started his career in the area of CPM, leading ALGs global operations until acquired by Business Objects.
Mark brings a wealth of experience to Anaplan.
Prior to joining Anaplan, he held senior product and marketing roles at HP Software, Mercury, and InterTrust Technologies Corporation, as well as a consulting position at Pittiglio, Rabin, Todd & McGrath and an application software engineer at IBM.
Most recently, Mark held the CMO position at Clustrix. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from University of California, Davis and an MBA from University of Virginias Darden Graduate School of Business.
Alan has been a leader in finance, strategy, and operations for over 20 years. He brings to Anaplan a wide breadth of experience in the SaaS, Internet, and telecom fields. As CFO at Anaplan, he directs the finance, accounting, human resources, legal, and facilities functions. Prior to this, Alan was VP Finance at LiveOps, a $100 million provider of cloud-based contact center solutions. Before joining LiveOps, Alan held corporate planning, M&A, and investor relations roles for Covad Communications, NorthPoint Communications, RouteScience Technologies, and SBC Internet Services.
Judd brings 20 years of operations experience building highly scalable, secure, and stable IT infrastructure to Anaplan. Prior to joining Anaplan, Judd led technical operations for several leading internet companies. He was VP of Technical Operations for Zinio, the #1 grossing iPad application, and RockYou, the fastest growing website on the internet, serving billions of monthly impressions internationally. Judd has also held systems architect positions at startup companies including Snapfish and Wired Digital. Judd holds a BA in Cognitive Science from U.C. Berkeley.
Denis brings over 20 years of technology sales and sales management experience to Anaplan. He oversees Anaplan’s growing sales organization in the Americas. Prior to Anaplan, Denis held senior executive roles at Nicira, Riverbed, EMC, BlueArc, and Mercury Interactive. Denis holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Doug is a pioneer of best practice in operations at rapid growth technology companies. As operating partner with Symphony Technology Group (STG), Doug worked closely with portfolio companies and most notably as Global Chief Operating Officer of Capco, a consulting and technology services firm. Prior to STG, Doug was the EVP and CFO of Mercury Interactive, driving the company to 25% annual growth. Other roles for Doug include: co-head of software practice at Hambrecht & Quist and CFO of Computervision, where he led the industrys first $1 billion software buyout. Doug holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and Affairs.
Samir brings over 15 years of experience in enterprise planning and performance management. He is one of the pioneering leaders in EPM, and has helmed several large initiatives in the SAP office of finance and EPM technologies. Prior to Anaplan, Samir was the Founder and CEO of Cloud EPM, Founder and CEO of CPM Consulting, and held senior management roles at Diagonal and Atos. At Anaplan, he oversees the growing customer focus in Asia and leads its regional business. Samir holds a Masters in business administration and Bachelors in communication engineering.
Chris serves on the Board of Directors for LucidWorks (open source enterprise search), Martini Media (affluent audience buying platform), Marqeta (pre-paid payments technology), Sendmail (e-mail infrastructure) and Symplified (cloud identity). He serves as a Board Observer at Anaplan (cloud-based business modeling).
Chris previously served as a Director of Arcot Systems (strong authentication as a service; acquired by CA Technologies for $206 M), Purisma (master data management, acquired by Dun & Bradstreet for $48 M) and was a Board Observer at Actional (acquired by Progress Software), Connected (remote backup solution; acquired by Iron Mountain for $117 M), Cardiff (electronic forms technology, acquired by Verity for $50 M) and Convio (CRM for non-profits; IPO, subsequently acquired by BLKB for $294 M).

Robert D. Ward has been a member of our board of directors since January 2009. Since 1999, Mr. Ward has been a Managing Director of Meritech Capital, a venture capital firm. Mr. Ward received a B.A. in political economy from Williams College and a M.S. in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Ward currently serves on our board as a designee of Meritech Capital pursuant to a contractual agreement among our stockholders that will terminate upon the completion of this offering. We believe that Mr. Ward possesses specific attributes that qualify him to serve as a member of our board of directors, including his experience in the venture capital industry.
Ravi Mohan has focused his entire career on the software business. Prior to co-founding Shasta Ventures, Ravi was a general partner at Battery Ventures where he led eight investments and served on the boards of 12 software and technology-enabled service companies.
Prior to joining Battery Ventures, Ravi built transaction-processing systems at Accenture, sold and implemented packaged software applications for Hyperion Software Corporation, and ran MIC, a software development firm based in India focused on business intelligence solutions to multinational corporations. Ravi also spent time at McKinsey & Company working with consumer packaged goods companies.
Ravi is very active in entrepreneurial circles and helped found the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Indian Venture Capital Association (IVCA) to leverage entrepreneurial activities between India and America.
Laurent is a leading entrepreneur and international sales executive, with over 20 years experience. He brings a wealth of international business experience to Anaplan in his role as General Manager of EMEA. Prior to Anaplan, Laurent served as COO and VP of Large Enterprise Sales for SAP France and SAP North Africa. Previously, he held international management roles at Business Objects Global and SAP EMEA.
Chris McKay joined Granite Ventures in September 1998 from Hambrecht & Quist, where he was an analyst in the firms Venture Capital department. Chris focuses on software investments, and he serves on the Board of Directors for Lucid Imagination, Marqeta, Martini Media, Sendmail, and Symplified.

Standish O’Grady is the Board Director of HyTrust Inc.He is also a Managing Director of Granite Ventures LLC.
Standish OGrady co-founded Granite Ventures as the early-stage venture capital group within Hambrecht & Quist in 1992, and co-led establishing Granite as an independent firm in 1998 and growing Granite to over $1 billion of funds under management.
Standish previously served in various positions within Hambrecht & Quists venture capital business from 1984 to 1998.
He focuses on investments in software companies. Standish currently serves on the Boards of Directors for,Crowd Science, HyTrust, Localmind,SellPoint .
Adrian’s full time role is CTO of a major US bank. He is also a private investor and/or board member with a variety of companies, 60% of which, by coincidence, are SaaS plays.
Michael is one of the worlds foremost EPM experts with more than 25 years in design and architecture. In 2006 Michael set out to design and create a new solution from the ground up that leveraged technology innovation. This vision became the Anaplan cloud platform for business users – enabling them to design, build, maintain & manage their own applications – without any IT support. Prior to Anaplan, Michael was the lead architect in the design of the analyst modeling tool, which became the leading multi-dimensional modeling tool of the 1990s until acquired by Cognos. Michael holds Mathematics degree and a MSc in Computation from Oxford University.
Guy is an accomplished executive and visionary with more than 20 years experience in the Business Performance Management Software Sector. In 2007, he co-founded Anaplan with a vision to create the First Business Operations Platform that would displace the Old Guard traditional on-premise enterprise software technologies. Prior to Anaplan, Guy was CEO and co-founder of Adaytum, a world-wide leader in Enterprise Performance Management Software sold to Cognos in 2003. Guy spent his early career in the NZ military as a commander of a Special Forces team. He holds an MBA from the university of Otago in his native NZ.
