Scott D. Flora is President & CEO, and member of the Board of Directors of OmniGuide.
Prior to joining OmniGuide, Mr. Flora served as President of the Surgical Devices Global Business Unit of Covidien Ltd., a leading $10 billion global healthcare products company. At Covidien Mr. Flora managed more than 8,000 employees around the world and oversaw global operations, the global product portfolio and business development and acquisitions.
Before Covidien, he spent 19 years at Smith & Nephew in various senior management and sales and marketing positions.
During his time at Smith & Nephew, he was President of their largest business unit, Orthopaedic Reconstruction, General Manager of the Trauma Division; and Senior Vice President of sales for the U.S. and European Regions.
Before joining Smith & Nephew, Mr. Flora was Vice President of global marketing and sales with Ioptex Research.
Mr.
Tracy Accardi joined OmniGuide in June 2012 as Chief Technology Officer.
Ms. Accardi has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, most recently serving as vice president of global research and development for the Vascular Therapies division of Covidien.
Previous experience includes executive level positions at Johnson &Johnson, Philips Healthcare and GE Healthcare.
At each of these companies, she led international teams of engineers and scientists to develop cutting-edge products and therapies in the neurovascular and cardiovascular spaces.
Ms. Accardi graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a dual Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and engineering and public policy. She also has a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Manny Avila joined OmniGuide in January 2013 as Global Vice President of Sales. Mr. Avila brings over 20 years experience in sales, commercial operations and strategic planning in the medical device industry.
Mr. Avila joins us from Covidien where he was recently VP of European Commercial Operations for the Surgical Solutions division located in Zurich, Switzerland.
Previous experience includes executive and senior level positions at Aspect Medical, where he was VP & General Manager International located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Prior to that he worked for Synthes, a global orthopedic company and Haemonetics.
Mr. Avila received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
Dr. Tairan Wang joined OmniGuide in February 2004. He is involved in all facets of our proprietary manufacturing process and has led his team through significant improvements to process quality and yield using lean six sigma approaches.
Prior to joining OmniGuide, Dr. Wang worked as Chip Design Group Leader and Product Manager at Clarendon Photonics.
Dr.Wang holds a dual bachelor of science degrees in physics and electrical engineering and computer science, from MIT, a Ph.D. in Physics and Material Design from MIT, and completed the general management program (GMP) at Harvard Business School.
Sharon Timberlake joined OmniGuide in January 2013, as Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
Since 1995, Ms. Timberlake has practiced exclusively in the area of Clinical, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs for medical device companies, and is certified in both Regulatory and Clinical Research.
Before joining OmniGuide, she was Vice President of Global Regulatory and Quality Affairs for Palomar Medical Inc., where she focused her energies on the development and approval of light and laser systems for dermatologic, aesthetic and surgical applications for professional and home-use worldwide.
Currently, Ms. Timberlake sits on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration General & Plastic Surgery Device Advisory Panel as the industry representative.
Prior to her career with Palomar, she has worked for Summit Technology Inc., Assurance Medical Inc., and Biosphere Medical Inc. Throughout her career, Ms.
Anil Khatod is a managing director at Argonaut Private Equity, a diversified global venture capital and private equity fund with more than $3.5 billion under management.
Anil works closely with entrepreneurs using his extensive operational experience to build industry leading companies in sectors including emerging technology, life sciences, alternative energy, financial services and consumer goods. He sits on the boards of nine companies in the US, Israel and India.
In 1980, Anil co-founded a venture backed liquid crystal display company based in Sunnyvale, California which was acquired in 1982. He subsequently joined Nortel Networks where he served in various senior executive roles including VP of Marketing & Sales, VP of Operations, Division President of Optical Networks, Group President of Internet Solutions and Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer of the company.
Ms. Suennen is a co-founder and Managing Member of Psilos Group, a healthcare-focused venture capital firm with over $550 million under management. Ms. Suennen has headed Psilos West Coast office since the firms founding in 1998 and focuses on the medical device, healthcare IT and healthcare services.
In addition to OmniGuide, she serves as a Director on the Board of several Psilos portfolio companies, including AngioScore, Inc. (chairman), InSound Medical, Inc., IntelliDOT Corp., Navitas Cancer Rehabilitation Centers of America, Inc. (chairman), and VeraLight, Inc (chairman).
Prior to Psilos, Ms. Suennen was at Merit Behavioral Care (formerly American Biodyne, Inc), where she held various senior executive roles including Senior VP/ GM of the Public Sector Division, Senior VP of Pacific Region Operations and Senior VP of Sales & Marketing.

Mr. Konidaris was elected to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of ESI, Inc. in January of 2004 and brings more than 25 years of experience in technology companies, primarily from Advantest America and Teradyne, to his role. At Advantest America, he was responsible for leading all U.S. operations, including sales and marketing, research and development, and supply chain management. He joined Advantest America in 1993, and became president and chief executive officer of the company in 1997.
Prior to Advantest America, while at Teradyne, he held senior marketing management positions in several divisions.
Currently, Mr. Konidaris serves on the board of directors for Ultratech, Inc. and Advanced Inquiry Systems, Inc.
Mr. Konidaris holds a diploma in electrical and mechanical engineering from National Technical University of Athens, Greece, and an MBA from MIT Sloan.
Colleen Wilson joined OmniGuide in September 2012 as Senior Director, Human Resources. Ms. Wilson has 14 years of experience in the Human Resources field, 11 of which have been in the Life Sciences industry. She has a strong background in employment, employee relations, organizational design & development, business partnering, and compensation.
Most recently she was Director, Human Resources for Rib-X Pharmaceuticals.
Prior to that Ms. Wilson held Human Resources roles with Infinity Pharmaceuticals, Targanta Therapeutics, Genzyme Corporation and Therion Biologics.
Ms. Wilson received her Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire and her Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
Doug served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Tornier N.V. from July 2006 to November 2012.
Mr. Kohrs served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Tornier N.V. from July 2012 to September 1, 2012.
He was an Entrepreneur- in-Residence at Split Rock Partners, LLC. He joined the Tornier SAS on September 26, 2005. He focused on new medical device opportunities and sourcing new deals to help existing portfolio companies or starting a new company.
Mr. Kohrs served as the Chief Executive Officer of American Medical Systems Holdings Inc., from April 1999 to January 2005 and led it through rapid growth and an initial public offering.
He served as a Vice President of Research and Product Development at Zimmer Spine, Inc. since January 1993.
He served as the President of American Medical Systems Holdings Inc. until March 3, 2004.
Mr. Kohrs has 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, most recently as General Manager of Sulzer Spine-Tech, Inc.
Ray Stata is cofounder of Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), a Fortune 1000 and S&P 500 company recognized for leadership in the design and manufacturing of analog, mixed-signal and digital signal processing semiconductors. ADI was established to fulfill Mr. Statas vision of the future role for high-performance signal processing technology. Operational amplifiers and linear ICs were soon joined by data converters, and later by digital signal processors (DSPs), forging the integration of analog and digital circuitry in semiconductors for signal processing.
Mr. Stata served as President of the company from 1971 to 1991 and CEO from 1973 to 1996. He has been Chairman of the Board since 1973 and continues to serve in this capacity.
Prior to the formation of Analog Devices, he was a founder of Solid State Instruments and became VP, Marketing at Kollmorgen Corporations Inland Controls Division when that company acquired Solid State Instruments.
Mr.
Yoel Fink is an Associate Professor at the Materials Science and Engineering Department at MIT.
Prof. Fink received a B.A. degree in Physics (Cum Laude) and a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from the Technion, Haifa, in 1994. In 2000 he was awarded a Ph.D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. That same year he joined the Faculty of the Materials Science and Engineering Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Professor Finks research group has pioneered the field of multimaterial multifunctional fibers.
He was a recipient of the Weizmann Institute Amos De-Shalit Foundation Scholarship in 1992, was awarded the Hershel Rich Technion Innovation Competition 1994, was a recipient of the Technology Review Award for the 100 Top Young Innovators in 1999 and was awarded the National Academy of Sciences Initiatives in Research Award for 2004.
