ForeScout CounterACT is an all-in-one, out-of-band appliance that integrates with your existing wired and wireless networking infrastructure. The approach allows enterprises to see all devices the moment they try to access the network and apply policy to allow, deny or limit access. CounterACT grants access based on the users identity, the device type and the security posture of the device. The authorization functionality can be provided as a 802.1x RADIUS proxy, a RADIUS server or without the use of 802.1x or agents. Beyond access control, the solution offers a broad range of device classification, endpoint enforcement and remediation capabilities.
