Roy Johnson
Roy Johnson comes to EcoFactor after four years as CEO at Calisolar, Inc., a vertically integrated manufacturer of solar silicon, wafers and high-performance cells. Prior to his time at Calisolar, Johnson was CEO of Redline Networks, where he guided the team to an industry leadership position in the Application Front End market, from pre-revenue to a successful acquisition by Juniper Networks for $132 million in May 2005. Previously Johnson also held the post of vice president of marketing and business development at 2Wire and spent 13 years at 3Com Corporation. He holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College.
Chief Marketing Officer
Ted Fagenson
Ted Fagenson is EcoFactor’s chief marketing officer, responsible for marketing strategy and communications, channel marketing, and product management. He was previously COO at CarCharging, an electric vehicle charging service, and VP of Sales at ChargePoint, which serves the SaaS infrastructure marketplace. Prior to joining ChargePoint, Ted was VP of Corporate Marketing and Sales for Cellfire, a mobile promotions service. During his tenure with 2Wire, a residential DSL supplier to telecommunications service providers, Ted led the corporate marketing and business development organizations. He also expanded 2Wire’s cloud-based remote management services business and grew its P&L; and attained high-growth sales in international markets. Ted has also worked for AT&T and Polycom, and founded the social mentorship firm, Huddlesphere. He holds an MBA from the University of Rochester Simon School and has a BSEE degree from Rutgers University.

Leo Cheung
Leo Cheung brought to EcoFactor over 20 years of hands-on experience in systems architecture and software engineering. He was most recently the principal consultant at Genuine Technology, providing a wide spectrum of software technology solutions, ranging from database-centric Web applications to enterprise-class secure messaging frameworks.
Prior to Genuine Technology, Leo was CTO and cofounder of Asimba. He led building a cobrandable e-Service platform that allows partners like Disney’s go.com and 24HourFitness to offer their customers personalized fitness programs. Before Asimba, he was the Systems Architect with an online couponing startup, planetU, responsible for scaling its applications to handle high-volume coupon transactions for retailers such as Kroger.

Eric Saltzman
Eric Saltzman joins EcoFactor with over 20 years of experience working with both private and public technology companies. Eric was most recently CFO and Executive VP, Corporate Development at PSS Systems, Inc., where he strengthened the companys financial position by raising capital, managing expenses and working with the sales team to close business with Fortune 500 and Global 1,000 companies.
Before joining PSS, Eric held CFO positions at Vendavo, Qualys, and TimesTen, and was CFO/COO of Cygent. His tenure at Qualys, a leading provider of on-demand vulnerability management and policy compliance solutions, provided significant experience in managing a rapidly growing SaaS business. Prior to these positions, Eric was CFO at Electronics for Imaging, Inc.

Scott Hublou
Scott Hublou is a leading voice in the clean tech and energy industries, through his consumer advocacy in the residential energy efficiency space. He is a frequent speaker on emerging smart grid technologies and the important role that smart homes play in creating a truly efficient energy system. Prior to EcoFactor, Scott was the CEO of The Sapria Design and Technology Group, a product strategy-consulting firm with clients including BlueShield, Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP, and HP.
Before heading Sapria, Scott was the CEO of Asimba, a SaaS based business intelligence and CRM solution for the online and brick-n-mortar fitness and nutrition industry. Scott has been a regular guest lecturer at both Stanford and the University of California at Berkeley business schools, sharing his knowledge and expertise on innovative business strategy, business intelligence and SaaS platforms.
Chief Technology Officer
Mohsin Hussain
Mohsin is CTO and VPE at EcoFactor. Prior to joining EcoFactor, Mohsin was Director of Software Engineering at SunPower Corporation (SPWR) where he led the development of embedded software products and data analytics for its SaaS platform to simulate, measure, validate and optimize the power generation of the company’s solar power plants. Prior to his time at SunPower, Mohsin was Vice President, R&D at NextAxiom Technology, a technology firm specializing in real-time system integration solutions for the Energy & Utility industry. While there, he oversaw the product roadmap, architecture and development of the NextAxiom platform integrating components of grid management software, asset management and business workflows using open communication industry standards.
Mohsin also spent seven years building agile software teams delivering large-scale high-availability consumer services while at Netscape and through its acquisition by AOL.
Vice President Business Development
John Steinberg
Prior to founding EcoFactor, John Steinberg was Director of Corporate Business Development for Electronics for Imaging, where he had a leadership role in $500M in transactions. He was also founder and President of Bebop Incorporated, and co-founded Involved Professionals Against Cancer, a 501(c)(3) stressing hands-on involvement with pediatric cancer patients at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.
John is a graduate of Stanford Law School, where he was an Associate Editor of the Stanford Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree (with honors) from Oberlin College, where he majored in Economics and Government, and was Phi Beta Kappa.
John has been issued 12 US patents for inventions in such diverse fields as digital photography, networked printing, and various mechanical devices. He has served on the Board of Directors of Long Beach Youth Centers and the Board of Advisors of the Tech Coast Venture Network.

Nat Goldhaber
Nat is the resident expert on mobile technology with a broad interest in areas such as mobile payments and social networking. His focus on this investment field is built on twenty years of experience in IT as: CEO of Cybergold; founder of Centram Systems West; founding CEO of Kaleida Labs and Vice President of Sun Microsystems. Prior to his business career, Nat served as Special Assistant to Pennsylvanias Lt. Governor, William Scranton, III. He ran the states Energy Agency as its Interim Director. Some past investments include: Ask Jeeves, Shiva and Macromedia. Nat is currently on the board of Adura Technologies, cFares, and TargetCast Networks.
Nat holds a masters degree in Education and is an emeritus member of the Executive Board of the College of Letters and Science at UC Berkeley.

Todd Dauphinais
Todd leads all aspects of the the North American operations of Aster Capital, a global multi-stage energy and materials technology venture capital firm headquartered in Paris, France and sponsored by three leading global industrial companies Solvay, Alstom, and Schneider Electric as well as the European Investment Fund.
Prior to joining Aster Capital, Todd served as the President and General Manager of EFI Electronics, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of surge protection and power quality devices. He has also held several positions in general management, strategy, finance and corporate development at leading firms such as Schneider Electric, Rockwell Automation and Deloitte Consulting.
Todd is an active individual investor and a member of Olympus Angels, The Young Presidents Organization and the Association for Corporate Growth. He received his BA from Texas A&M University and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Abe Yokell
Abes interest in startups began after spending a summer at a venture-backed diagnostics company as a business development intern. He subsequently joined Analysis Group, an economic and management consultancy. Abe then joined RockPort as an Associate, having previously interned at RockPort for a summer, and is active in all aspects of RockPorts activities.
He has investment and board experience in early through late stage companies in solar, energy efficiency, energy storage, smart grid, transportation, green buildings, wind, lighting, water, and advanced materials. He moved from Boston to help spearhead the opening of RockPorts Menlo Park office, and is a frequent panelist and judge at industry conferences and business plan competitions. Abe graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Economics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Paul Straub
Paul Straub is a Partner at Claremont Creek Ventures where he focuses on energy and IT investments.
Prior to joining Claremont Creek in 2005, Pauls experience included working for and investing in technology companies through roles at Information Technology Ventures, Infinity Capital, VERITAS Software, and Red Hat Software.
Paul began his career in investment banking at Montgomery Securities and subsequently joined Thomas Weisel Partners at the firms inception.
Paul serves on the board or as a board observer at Alphabet Energy, Project Frog, EcoFactor and Adura Technologies and previously at Property Bridge (acquired) and Lefora (acquired).
