OUR ROOTS
The Brazen Careerist blog network came online in March 2008, and quickly became one of the top career sites for professionals. Brazen has continued to evolve over the years, but has stayed true to its original missionhelping professionals achieve their career goals with a unique mix of brazen career content and state-of-the-art technology. We have helped countless professionals discover new career interests, find new job opportunities, network with employers and colleagues and gain the skills necessary to succeed in today’s market.
GROUNDBREAKING TECHNOLOGY
In 2010, Brazen Careerist set out to create a virtual event platform that would bring employers and top talent together in an authentic, engaging and efficient wayall online. Today, our virtual event platform is used by hundreds of large organizations such as Amazon, Citi, Deloitte, the U.S. Department of State and others to recruit and engage top talent. University career centers, alumni offices and admissions also use our technology to power virtual events. Our platform has become the gold standard for virtual event technology and is quickly becoming the vendor of choice for corporations, government agencies, universities and nonprofits.

Our close relationships with some of the countrys largest and best-known employers has given us a unique perspective on the types of skills and talent that employers are looking for.
Ed is CEO and Chairman of the Board of Brazen Careerist, a career focused social networking site targeting Gen Y. He is also Managing Partner of Zeitgeist Holdings, L.L.C., an angel investment firm focused on investing in early stage technology companies. From 1996 to 2005, he was President and CEO of Arc Second Inc., a high growth market leader in the field of laser based, high-precision GPS. Ed led Arc Second to a successful exit (acquired by Metris NV of Belgium) at the end of 2005. He sat on the Board of Directors of Metris NV, and worked as an active Board member through the Companys IPO (2006) and its acquisition by Nikon (Japan) in 2009.
From 1993 to 1996, Ed served as Managing Director of Max Schlatterer GmbH & Co KG, a leading German manufacturer of products for the food, drug and machine tool industry with headquarters outside of Munich, Germany.
Ryan Healy is the COO and Co-Founder of Brazen Careerist, a professional networking site that helps members create new relationships to advance their careers. He Co-founded Brazen Careerist in late 2007 after gaining national notoriety in the HR & Recruiting sectors through Employee Evolution, his community based blog about Young Professionals in the workplace.
Ryan has been named one of the countrys top Human Resource thought leaders by World at Work and Accenture, and is a recognized workplace expert for the young workforce, appearing in print publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Business Week and as a spokesperson for the new generation of young professionals on 60 Minutes and PBS Nightly News.
Prior to founding Brazen Careerist, Ryan worked as a Financial Consultant for IBM Global Business Services in Washington D.C. He holds a B.S. in Business from Pennsylvania State University.

Chris Yeh was on the founding team of pioneering Internet companies such as United Online Services (Nasdaq: UNTD) and Merrill Lynchs Intelligent Technologies Group. He has founded, advised, or invested in dozens of startups, including Ustream and PBworks.
Chris is a much-quoted thought leader in the field of marketing and entrepreneurship; his research and publications have been incorporated into the Harvard Business School curriculum, while his projects have received press coverage in Fortune, the Financial Times, and the New York Times. He writes a popular blog on entrepreneurship and venture capital, Adventures in Capitalism and contributes to blogs such as TechCrunch and VentureBeat. Chris holds two degrees from Stanford University, and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was named a Baker Scholar (High Distinction).
