Zemanta is a platform for assisted on-line content production for any web user. A blog, an article or a web page is fed it into its system which then recognizes the content and returns suggested images, smart links, keywords and relevant related stories from the Internet. It can be referenced from a user’s preferred content publishing platform through a plug-in.
Zemanta was launched in 2007 after being chosen as a winner of [Seedcamp](http://www.crunchbase.com/company/seedcamp) 2007 and receiving $100,000 in seed funding.
As a philosophy student Bostjan was involved in several contemporary art performances as a multimedia and technology consultant; he then joined Cyberpipe, a cybercafe/on-line university community in Slovenia, where he worked as project manager and managed more than 50 projects between 2003 and 2007. He is team building champion and community use case expert with Zemanta. He is interested in art, philosophy and social phenomena.
Todd Sawicki is the Chief Revenue Officer of the Cheezburger Network. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Todd attended Duke University. Sawicki has over 15 years of experience with online startups, media companies, and specializes in online advertising, monetization, and user acquisition. Prior to joining Cheezburger, Todd was VP of Marketing at Lookery, a web-based ad company.
Greg Gortz is the VP of Sales at Zemanta. He is responsible for building out Zemanta’s revenue model and client base.
Josh Guttman is a General Partner at SoftBank Capital specializing in early-stage investing in New York.
Prior to joining Softbank, Josh served as a Senior Vice President at Outbrain, the leading online content discovery platform, where he supported the growth of the business from 50 to 250 global employees.
Josh has more than six years of experience in the content discovery space, beginning in 2007 as an early member of the team at Sphere, which was later acquired by Aol.
Post-acquisition, Josh led Sphere as CEO for two years, ultimately initiating its divestiture (then rebranded as Surphace) and sale to Outbrain in early 2011.
Josh began his career as a technology investment banker at Robertson Stephens & Co. in San Francisco.
Josh is a 12-year veteran of the New York City tech ecosystem, having emigrated from the West Coast in 2001.
He is a mentor and angel investor to a dozen startups across the digital media, SaaS and mobile marketplaces.

Most recently he was the Co – Founder and original CEO at what is now Lovefilm International (Amazon) and part of the original executive team at Skype (eBay).
Saul loves working with seed and early stage companies and is a passionate believer that Europe is only scratching the surface in terms of its potential for entrepreneurs to create great startups.
During his computer science studies in 1995, Ale designed and implemented one of the first on-line trading brokerages in Europe and ran its operation for two years. He then published a book on advanced SQL programming at O’Reilly Media and moved on trough several IT-related managerial posts in Slovenia, finally serving as CEO of a top IT integrator with 160 employees spread out across three countries. From 2003 to 2007 he established and run his own business development consultancy. He holds an MBA from California State University, Hayward, and is a passionate connoisseur of fine wine, good food and classical jazz.
While in high school Andraz won two bronze medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics (1998,1999). In 2000 he co-founded Cyberpipe, now a leading Slovenian multimedia centre, working on a cross section of technology, art and society. From 2001 to 2007, he was a core developer of the Cinelerra open source video editing solution. Andraz is research and development lead for Zemanta. He is interested in media, IP rights logic and Internet ethics.
