BPG Werks (formerly BPG) designs environmentally responsible personal vehicles. The company is the developer of the Uno, a body movement controlled dicycle, which uses electrical drive to accelerate to speeds up to 25 mph.
Benjamin Gulak was selected to join Team Canada and represent Canada at the International Science and Engineering Fair on 3 separate occasions, a distinction that only 2 other Canadians have achieved. There he was awarded 2nd and a 3rd place honors.
Ben has won numerous science and design awards over the years, including the prestigious National Collegiate of Inventors and Innovators Alliance Award.
The Uno was selected by Popular Science Magazine as one of the Top 10 Inventions for 2008, appearing on the cover in June 2008.
In 2008 Ben had the distinction of being named as one of Canadas Top 20 Under 20.
Ben is the founder of BPG-Motors and BPG-Werks. He currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts where continues to work on the Uno.
