icix is an industry developed collaborative commerce network that allows businesses to connect and share mission critical information with their trading partners. The icix network is used across a wide range of industries to help businesses collaborate on the many structured and unstructured documents that codify their commercial relationships.
More than 20,000 businesses and 70,000 facilities actively connect on the icix business network, including 4 of the world’s top 10 retailers, and 82 of the top 100 food suppliers. icix was developed with leading corporations that identified an industry need for a collaborative network to manage common trading practices and processes; corporations that include Cargill, Costco, ConAgra, Hanesbrands, Hasbro, JP Morgan Chase, Mattel, Lowe’s, Sysco, Target, Toys R Us, Tyson, US Foods, Walmart, Walt Disney, and Whole Foods.
The icix network provides real-time communications and collaboration between businesses with more than 100,000 active users. There are currently over 10,000 standardized documents and processes implemented in the icix network and shared by trading partners. Over the last 18 months, the icix network has grown to over 3 million commercial transactions processed each day, in over 40 countries globally.
Paul Touw is the Chairman and CEO of icix and is responsible for the vision, direction and strategy of the company.
Most recently, Paul was CEO, Chairman, and founder of XOJET, Inc., now the third largest private aviation company in the United States, with flight operations throughout North America and the Middle East (UAE).
Founded in 2005, XOJET doubled revenues each year to a run rate of $110m annually by 2008 with over 200 employees, and raised more than $2.4 billion in multiple equity, aircraft financing, and lease agreements to grow its operations under Mr. Touws leadershipultimately setting a record for the largest business aviation financing transaction in history. XOJETs employees ranked XOJET one of the top places to work in the Bay Area under his leadership, and Mr. Touw received the Bay Areas Most Admired CEO Award in 2007 by the San Francisco Business Times.

Dan Lee is responsible for global financial initiatives and discipline in the rapid growth business operations at icix.
Dan has over 20 years of experience, as a senior financial executive of publicly-held and venture-backed companies.
Previously, he was the CFO for NetSol Technologies, a publicly-held technology company offering software solutions for large enterprises.
He has been instrumental in raising over $50 million in venture financing for a variety of start-up companies, as well as $60 million in a public offering at Wind River Systems. He has led the financial and administrative affairs during the rapid growth period for innovative software companies such as Linuxcare.
Dan is a Scholarship Reader for the Cal Alumni Association of U.C. Berkeley and is a past Treasurer for the Piedmont Baseball and Softball Foundation. He is married with two college-age children and is an avid cyclist, tennis and softball player.

Kunal Bhasin is Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer at icix and is responsible for icixs overall technology and infrastructure strategy, direction and execution.
Mr. Bhasin has many years of experience in a wide array of systems ranging from mission critical real-time solutions at NASA-Ames to web-scale commercial applications. His specialties include BigData, SAAS, In-Memory computing, highly-concurrent and very large-scale systems, cloud-based systems, and social architectures.
Mr. Bhasin is an expert at building and architecting highly scalable, highly available, fully faulttolerant and robust applications delivering peak optimum performance, ease of operations and lower cost.

With over 30 years of experience, Wes has succeeded in launching several companies as a key member of the Sales Team.
Billingslea came to icix from Livefyre, where he was a member of their Advisory Board and VP of Sales along as well as an independent angel investor.
Wes was one of the early sales executives at Ariba (NASDAQ:ARBA), where he was Director of Sales and responsible for their high-technology sector.
At SAP, he ran the high technology vertical sales team. Through his expertise in Web and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, he sold over $150 million during his time at SAP and Ariba. He has built channels, developed brands, and devised and executed a number of innovative merchandising programs. His comprehensive knowledge, along with his unique blend of skills enabled him to achieve great success, while providing outstanding service to his customers.
Paul is responsible for Enterprise Sales in the United States. Prior to icix, Paul spent ten years at Epocrates, where he was focused on developing the companys pharmaceutical business.
During his tenure at Epocrates, Paul was promoted several times with his most recent position being Senior Vice President, leading the 25 person sales team at Epocrates with an annual quota of $90 MM.
Paul won all of the top sales awards numerous times including Salesperson of the Year and the Epocrates Peerless Award, awarded to the most valuable player in the commercial organization.
Paul has developed and sustained excellent relationships at multiple levels with pharmaceutical companies as well as proven track record of exceeding quota as both an individual and as a team leader. Beyond pharmaceutical companies, Paul has experience selling new products to new sectors including market research services to healthcare investors.
Kirk is responsible for day-to-day operations of the company including development, sales, marketing, support, finance and operations.
Kirk has over thirty years of experience in the technology industry and has been CEO of five Internet companies.
Prior to icix, Loevner, was CEO of Epocrates, a public healthcare technology company providing clinical information to healthcare professionals.
Loevner has previously been CEO of Internet Shopping Network, an early e-commerce company acquired by Home Shopping Network; PublishOne, an online publishing company acquired by InterTrust Technologies; Screaming Media, a public online media company acquired by CBS, and most recently, Resilient Network Systems, a cloud networking and security company.
Kirk was also a development and marketing executive at Apple for ten years where he led the introduction of many hardware and software products.
Loevner holds a B.S.E. in Computer Science from Tufts University and an M.B.A.
As Vice President of Professional Services Jean is responsible for the Management of the Implementation and Delivery of the icix Solution Suite.
Jean has over 18 years experience managing and implementing Global Sourcing and Supplier Management solutions to leading worldwide Retailers. She joined icix from Trace One (Eqos) where she spearheaded the growth of the UK-based company into the US Market by managing the successful implementation of a broad range of solutions.
Her career began with RockPort Trade Systems, Inc. as a Director of Industry Consulting. She was also responsible for the companys expansion into the European Market as Director Strategic Alliances & New Channels.
Jean holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI.
Justin is responsible for developing the icix presence in public sector markets. This includes offering the icix platform to Federal and state regulatory agencies for use in carrying out their missions, and to military and civilian acquisition organizations.
Areas of emphasis include food safety and security, including school nutrition, consumer products, including toys, and pharmaceuticals, customs and trade, and security and defense agencies. Justin also manages icix alliance relationships with large management consulting firms, systems integrators, and smaller specialty firms.
Justin has 16 years of experience in the public and regulatory affairs arenas with a focus on the homeland security, supply chain, and transportation sectors. This experience includes developing and executing multi-stakeholder public/private initiatives to innovate, tap growth markets, and satisfy emerging requirements, which are directly applicable to his role at icix.
Todd oversees enterprise applications at icix.
Previously, Mr. Untrecht was Vice President of Products at Openwater Networks where he led all aspects of product management and development from initial company creation through product launch.
Prior to Openwater, Mr. Untrecht led the Service Engineering Program Office at Oracle Corporation where he was responsible for the development and deployment of Oracle On Demands software as a service product offerings.
Mr. Untrecht also served as Managing Director of the Oracle Venture Fund, where he helped lead the strategy, investments, and deal negotiations in Oracles $500 million investment fund from 19992003.
Mr. Untrecht has been a guest lecturer at Santa Clara University and an active speaker at multiple Venture Capital and industry software events. He is a strong advocate of bringing the advances made in the consumer internet into the world of work and specializes in developing network-centric online business applications.
Doug is responsible for Corporate Sales, Network Operations, Membership Services and Supplier Onboarding for the icix Collaborative Commerce Network.
Doug brings to icix a rich background in commercial operations at both small and large companies. Recently Doug was Vice President of Operational Excellence at DocuSign, the global leader in Electronic Signatures.
Doug was brought into DocuSign by their CEO Keith Krach to help drive operational excellence across the company through leadership, processes and systems to enable DocuSign to accelerate. While at DocuSign, Doug led many cross functional initiatives and projects including centralizing business operations, implementing new enterprise applications, streamlining the administration and usage of salesforce.com as a company platform, as well as, leading the global sales operations teams.
Tim is responsible for World Wide Field Operations for icix.
He has 25 years of experience in technology sales, marketing, and business development with private start up and public companies.
Recently, Tim was Chief Operating Officer at Zilliant, a leader in B2B price optimization, where he led a highly successful transition to a SaaS business model.
Prior to Zilliant Hamilton was Senior Vice President of North American Sales at Ariba. Tim co-founded application server company Novera, and started his career at Internet pioneer Bolt, Beranek and Newman.
Tim was raised outside of Boston and he and his wife Lynn moved the family to the San Francisco Bay Area while working for Ariba. Tim and Lynn have a daughter and three sons. On weekends, you will likely find them supporting their kids at a pool or a track.
Tim holds an BS in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
Jennifer Scott Fonstad is a Board Director at EdeniQ Inc.
She is also a Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Considered one of the most senior women in venture today, Ms. Fonstad invests broadly in early stage companies, most recently taking an early leadership role in clean energy. Additionally, she has been working to change our countrys healthcare system through entrepreneurship.
Recent investment successes include,Athenahealth (NASDAQ: ATHN), Lumenos (acquired by Wellpoint, NYSE: WLP),NetZero (NASDAQ: UNTD) .
In addition to her investing responsibilities, Jennifer sits on the investment committees for DFJ VinaCapital, DFJs partner fund in Vietnam, DFJ Tamir Fishman, DFJs partner fund in Israel, and serves as adviser to the DFJ China team.Jennifer finds much of her inspiration from her family. She and her husband Diego are building the first LEED Platinum certified home in their home town of Atherton.
John Dyson is one of the founders of Starfish Ventures and has played a crucial role in the establishment of the company. John has personally overseen and managed nearly 20 investments in a range of technologies and industries. John has achieved numerous exits for his portfolio companies including a NASDAQ listing, ASX listings and trade sales to local and overseas companies.
In May 1995, John was appointed General Manager (Australia) of JAFCO Investment (Asia Pacific), a Singapore based private equity manager.
In this role John was responsible for establishing the Australian office, recruiting a team of investment professionals and overseeing investments into 24 companies totalling $95M invested and achieving 19 exits. Prior to joining JAFCO, John worked in the investment banking and stockbroking industry for Schroders, Nomura Securities, KPMG and ANZ McCaughan.
Malcolm is and Investment Director at Starfish Ventures. Malcolm has worked in venture related roles since 1998.
Prior to Starfish Ventures, he spent several years as Investment Manager with JAFCO Investment (Asia Pacific) and then joined Platypus Technology in sales and business development, establishing the companys US operations.
Malcolm is a scientist and programmer by training with graduate degrees in physics and computer science and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.
He also spent several years in Japan as a Monbusho scholar researching technology commercialisation.
At Starfish Malcolms focus is on investments in information technology and software businesses, with particular interest in mobile, internet and cloud based enterprise systems.
He is responsible for all aspects of the investment lifecycle from deal sourcing and execution through portfolio management and exit creation.
Responsible for closing many of the companys flagship customers and is a recognized leader and visionary in the Business Relationship Management market. Fundamental in designing a Business Relationship Network that scales horizontally across industries that can support key challenges that affect global trade.
Responsible for strategic business development, as well as icix relationships with the worlds largest companies, standards organizations, regulatory bodies, and test, inspection and certification organizations.
