Women of Coffee is a California C Corporation that was incorporated in December 2013 by Karen Cebreros, a serial entrepreneur focused on developing social businesses. Cebreros, CEO of Women of Coffee, is a pioneer in the sustainability efforts in the coffee industry and was the leader in visioning, developing and implementing the introduction of organic green coffee bean trading in North America.
Women of Coffee provides products and services that empower corporations, employees and industries to measure, track and ultimately increase activities that improve human engagement, environmental impact and profitability.
The development of Corporate Cares was strongly driven by Cerebros’s vision: “We imagine unleashing the power of and potential of every employee to revitalize their community.” With an already established, vertically integrated market in the coffee and beverage industry, Women of Coffee is expanding its reach to the larger corporate market.
Women of Coffee is seeking a total of up to US $350,000 to market and sell Corporate Cares. The company is selling 700,000 shares at $.50/share which represents 35% of the company. There is a minimum investment of $5,000.
Women of Coffee intends to buy back its equity from our investors in Year 5 based on a third-party valuation. The investor can also choose to retain its equity until Exit Strategy is executed in later years.
Exit Strategy will depend on certain market conditions. We have the option of selling the book of business to Profits 4 Purpose. We would also look to anyone who could potentially buy Profits 4 Purpose to also buy Women of Coffee.
Another potential Exit Strategy may evolve as other, larger players get into the sustainability cloud software industry and want to buy, rather than build a customer base.

Corporate Cares, a cloud-based subscription software that enables corporations to measure and report on the company’s socially conscious and community engagement activities, as well as that of their employees. Corporate Cares fills a need for companies who are already engaged in their communities through volunteering, in-kind donations, and philanthropy, but who have not found an efficient way to measure that engagement. Consumers are increasingly demanding transparency and offering their loyalty to brands that create a positive impact in communities.
Many Fortune 500 companies have dedicated extensive resources to CSR programs, and are reaping benefits from that investment. Other organizations are adopting similar aims, but have a difficult time allocating scarce human and financial resources to their programs. Corporate Cares saves these companies time and effort, allowing them to make a bigger social impact and communicate it to stakeholders more clearly.
