Patrick Taylor is an authority in the convergence of business analytics, information security and the implementation of technology to boost organizational performance. Patrick recognized that most IT-security and financial-system controls focus on user access and role management, but don’t address how to convert ERP, CRM and other financial transaction resources into plain-language, actionable insights. After speaking with executives from across the country, Patrick launched Oversight Systems to pioneer the concepts and technology for continuous transaction analytics.
As a thought leader in predictive business analytics, Patrick has spoken at a wide variety of conferences. He has held leading positions at Internet Security Systems (ISS) and Symantec as well as ORACLE, Red Brick Systems, GO, Air2Web and Fast-Talk.
Dan Kuokka (Ph.D.) is the Chief Technology Officer at Oversight Systems Inc.
Dan Kuokka has a broad range of expertise ranging from basic research to executive and product management. He managed engineering groups at Actra, a business-to-business e-commerce software startup later purchased by Netscape. After developing and delivering systems as part of the Buyer Xpert software suite, Dan became group product manager for the AOL Organizer Division. In this role, he led a team of product managers responsible for specifying the functionality and user experience of AOL’s on-line calendar. Dan worked on agents at Fuji Xerox Palo Alto Labs, applying them to common office productivity tasks and workflow.
At Lockheed Martin, he was principal investigator and manager of the Shade team, which developed basic technologies enabling networks of information-consuming and producing agents.
Bill Mayer is the Chief Financial Officer at Oversight Systems Inc.
Bill Mayer brings over 20 years of financial, operations and treasury executive management experience to Oversight Systems. He has served in various senior financial management positions in private and public companies ranging from $1 million to $2 billion in annual revenue. Bill has significant experience in software, technical services, health care, media and high-tech manufacturing.
Prior to joining Oversight Systems, he held senior finance positions at PRIMEDIA, NDCHealth, Scientific Atlanta and Procter & Gamble.
His early-stage experience includes CFO positions at venture-backed Preferred Technical Services and IMedeon.
Bills roles of responsibility as CFO have included all financial, administrative, legal, human resource and IT functions. He has extensive experience directing the implementation of back office solutions, process automation and internal control development.
Chris Rossie is the Executive Vice President, Business & Corporate Development at Oversight Systems Inc. Chris Rossie brings over 30 years of technology industry experience to Oversight Systems.
Prior to Oversight, Chris was a venture capitalist at Gray Ventures where he was responsible for evaluating and selecting investment opportunities, directing due diligence efforts and managing ongoing relationships with portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Gray Ventures in 2000, Chris was vice president, channel operations and partner programs for Internet Security Systems (ISS).
Chris previously served in a variety of sales management and general management roles for Attachmate Corporation/Digital Communications Associates (DCA), including managing director Europe, Africa, Middle East and vice president Asia Pacific and Latin America.
Chris was also a director of business and market development at Accenture and began his career in sales at Motorola.
H. Keith Cooley is the Executive Vice President, Engineering at Oversight Systems Inc.
Keith Cooley is an information technology veteran who leads all Oversight Systems product development and engineering efforts.
Before joining Oversight, he was chief customer officer at Atlanta-based Witness Systems.
From 2002 to 2005, Keith was executive vice president of product development for Atlanta-based EzGov, Inc.
From 1996 to 2000, he served as vice president of engineering for Internet Security Systems (ISS), where he was responsible for production of the companys award-winning product lines.
Prior to joining ISS, Keith served in multiple roles at Dun & Bradstreet Software (DBS), including vice president of information systems, vice president of worldwide client server support and vice president of European support and development.
Chris Hollenbeck is a founding member of the Granite Ventures team.
He joined Granite after serving as Vice President of Hambrecht & Quist’s Venture Capital department, and focuses his investments in software.
In addition to software applications, Chris is also interested in companies that capitalize on the current digital content explosion from voice and video to consumer entertainment and next-generation software infrastructure technologies.
Chris currently sits on the Boards of Bunchball, HireVue, Oversight Systems, Rewarder, Smule, Telltale and YottaMark.
John joined Sigma in 1996. With over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, a business unit manager, and an investor, John uses motivation, enthusiasm, and his own technology and operational expertise to support Sigmas portfolio companies. Throughout his career, he has held executive management positions, created new business units and departments, and sponsored new projects at some of the industrys most successful technology companies.
Prior to Sigma, John was the President & CEO of Vermeer Technologies, Inc., the developers of FrontPage, the leading Web authoring tool. Vermeer was acquired by Microsoft, providing Sigma and the other venture investors a very successful return.
Previously, he was an early principal at SQL Solutions, where he created and led an engineering organization chartered to build heterogeneous database tools.
