Vanessa McGrath Snyder joined the Philadelphia office of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) as its Associate Director for Philadelphia Programming and Operations.
Ms. Snyder comes to PBI from The Axelrod Firm, P.C., a certified woman-owned law firm where she was a Senior Associate, representing corporations and non-profits in employment, general liability, and commercial litigation matters.
Before joining The Axelrod Firm, Ms. Snyder practiced at Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg, LLP, representing clients in complex commercial litigation and employment matters. After law school, Ms. Snyder served on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court as a law clerk to the now Chief Justice Thomas G. Saylor.
Ms. Snyder graduated cum laude from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she was an editor for the Temple Law Review and President of the Student Bar Association. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ursinus College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and received the Robin Blood Harris ’56 Memorial Prize.
Ms. Snyder is an active member of her community, serving as First Vice President of the Temple Alumni Association and Of Counsel to the Temple University Alumni Association. Ms. Snyder has been honored by the Diversity Law Institute and the Temple Alumni Association, named a Rising Star in Employment Defense by SuperLawyers, and recognized by Leadership Philadelphia as a "Connector and Keeper".
