HADRAMAUT,Jan 27 (WAM) – In line with the continued United Arab Emirates (UAE) support for Yemeni people in their untold suffering at the hands of the Iran-backed Houthi militias, a medical team of the Emirates Red Crescent has continued running their onsite tours of a number of hospitals in Hadramaut to meet their requirements and ensure their medical preparedness.
Sent under the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the team had firsthand experience of the services and requirements of Al Deis East, Qasay’er and Al Reida East hospitals, and discussed with their medical teams all measures needed to be taken to provide the people of Hadramaut with best possible levels of health care.
Major General Faraj Salmeen Al Behsni, Governor of Hadramaut, Commander of the 2nd Military Zone, extended sincere thanks to Sheikh Mohamed for his ceaseless support and close follow-up of the healthcare sector in particular and his role in extending helping hand to all the governorate’s people in general.
