I am fortunate enough serve two great bunches of kiddos! All of whom have the ability and determination to succeed. These students will be part of a movement, an initiative to spark their success this upcoming year which involves staying in school one hour later for intervention. Why? Because all students should have the resources and tools they need to succeed and for years my students have been deprived of such.
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.
That little extra is what my students bring to the classroom every single day!
My students will use these Amazon Fire tablets and protective cases during small group individualized learning in their technology center. They will also use these tablets to check their work through the use of QR codes! There are various online programs such as Imagine Math and Achieve 3,000 that our district uses to track student advancement in math, reading, and science.
I serve in a low income community where students are rarely exposed to working technology in the classroom.
My students are 21st century learners that want to summarize their learning creating slide shows, digital posters, and things of that nature, but without the resources this is impossible!
