Robbie Miller
Robbie Miller was a loving brother and friend. We want to honor his life by helping others and affecting positive change with bike safety. He was an amazing person who had an affinity for producing, DJing and technology; Rob was known for fixing gaming consoles in his spare time. He was constantly saying “I love you, man” and embracing life with a positive attitude. He was always laughing, smiling, making music and working towards his future. A budding entrepeneur, his life was taken at the young age of 16 before his high school graduation and potential realized. Rob’s life’s purpose of helping others must be continued and we want to embody that spirit with this helmet donation.
Why Helmets?
If Robbie had been wearing a helmet, he might still be here today. Ultimately, statistics show that wearing a helmet improves your chances of survival . Helmet use has been estimated to reduce the odds of head injury by 50 percent, and the odds of head, face, or neck injury by 33 percentby. You can read more facts here ; but, this is something we should all get behind. We want to make helmets easily available to kids and families. And to personalize the helmet, we also will be shipping “team robbie” stickers that kids can stick on their helmet or bike to celebrate the cause.
Our Goal
Our goal is to raise $2200 in total. $2000 of if will be used to purchase 360 helmets and send them to Coral Springs Police Department, Robbie’s middle school Sawgrass Springs and High School Coral Glades. The remaining $200 will be used to print the “team robbie” stickers.
