Hi Kickfurther community-
We’re back for our second campaign. This co-op is covered by an assigned purchase order from Goose Island Beer Company, and the order is for more than 150% of the amount we’re raising.
We reached our goal on our first co-op in a matter of seconds and completed the co-op on schedule. Please check it out.
Back when we launched our first co-op, we said collaborations and white label opportunities were the fastest growing segment of our business. That still holds true today, and we recently signed a collaboration deal with Goose Island Beer Company. We are creating a limited edition collection of Bongos exclusively for Goose. We expect this to be the first order of a long partnership with Goose Island and would love to continue partnering with the KF community to finance these orders.
The production will occur overseas in China, and I will personally oversee the quality control on products coming off the assembly line. This is something I have extensive experience in (please take a look at our production flow chart in the Owner Team section of the Company tab). Once production is complete our 30-day terms with Goose Island will begin, because these terms are based on when we ship the product (rather than deliver it).
I believe that we can complete this co-op ahead of schedule, but I wish to under promise and over deliver. My goal for the Goose Island order and the buyers who fund it are the same; give them a great experience that they will want to repeat as soon as possible.
Thanks for listening, happy buying, and feel free to ask your questions in the comments!
Naturally, we love music.
Geneva, Oslo, Cartagena, Sao Paulo. We also love to travel. We’ve lived all over the world. And we wanted to create a speaker that would make the journey with us. Something that evoked our wanderlust, our passion for new experiences and our lifestyle. After all, tomorrow we could wake up and decide to go somewhere we’ve never been before. And for that, we have the Bongo.
We’re also committed makers and adore our home of Brooklyn, NY. It’s here that we’ve spent a lot of time perfecting the Bongo — taking the time to ensure the Bongo would delight its owners for years to come.
So sometime soon, whether you’re far off hanging with newfound friends, or home with familiar ones, we hope you’ll have a Bongo by your side.
I’ve been running O&E for three years now. I keep the business as lean as possible by automating and outsourcing whenever possible to save time or money. Prior to launching this company, I spent five years in China running a product development and sourcing company. I have a strong background in manufacturing.
Bongo is stylish, eco-friendly, and naturally resonant. The entire device is encased in smooth, 100 percent natural bamboo with a vintage hemp linen speaker cloth. Bamboo resonates better than matter or plastic for warm tones and rich playback that really stands out. Classic in design, the Bongo Bluetooth speaker streams music over Bluetooth for up to 15 hours per charge (via the included micro USB cable). Users can also connect with a 3.5 mm audio cable. Beneath the bamboo exterior lies a pair of 1.5-inch powered drivers made with rare earth magnets up front coupled with two 1.75-inch passive bass woofers in the rear.
