As the first Official Fundraiser of the Morristown Cultural District and its Members, St Peter’s Church, The Presbyterian Church of Morristown, The MPAC, Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen and The Morristown and Morris Township Library, Make a Splash on May 20th from 11 am to 2 pm will be a celebration of art, music, culture, food and learning. The picnic and concert will raise awareness and funds for the many underprivileged kids in Morristown who have never learned to swim due to a lack of access to Public Pools and swimming lessons. We ask that all of our neighbors in the surrounding area come and enjoy what will be a beautiful day in the park in front of Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen. There will be all sorts of activities for the kids, Picnic baskets available for pre order from Jockey Hollow, a reading for the kids by Mayor Dougherty, Jazz by grads of Jazz House Kids and more music and fun. There will even be a tasting of Rose Wines led by Chris Cannon of Jockey Hollow! If you can’t make it that day, any contribution can be made on line through Crowdrise! $230 will allow a Family to swim all Summer!
