This spring and summer we have some incredibly exciting ongoing projects to benefit our wild residents. We have four brand new habitats in various stages of development for our sandhill cranes, turkey vultures, raccoon, and yellow-bellied marmot. Two of these habitats will be fantastic new additions for our most recent residents Meeka the raccoon and Margi the marmot, while the other two enclosures will benefit our migratory birds who have been living in temporary homes over the winter. The new habitats will also be greatly beneficial to the sanctuary as we work towards our goal of American Sanctuary Association (ASA) accreditation. We hope to finish these projects before
next fall and with your help we can make a huge difference in the quality of life for these animals! Our goal is to raise $5,000 over the next four months to ensure every animal has a safe and comfortable home over the winter.
Your donation will go directly into our habitat fund. This money will be used to purchase supplies like lumber, fencing, viewing glass, nails and screws, landscaping supplies, and renting equipment. It will also go towards a few services we can’t perform ourselves like hiring concrete specialists, metal fabricators, and an electrician. Through your generous contribution we know we will create four amazing habitats that will benefit our
wild residents for years to come. Thank you for a donation that will make lasting impact at YWS. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
