Hi Friends, Family, Lovers, Colleagues, and Strangers (soon to be lovers)!
Emily Bell and Ron Morehouse here! We are so excited to be collaborating on our third project and eager to bring you the fresh, original stories you’ve come to expect from us.
In the spring of 2014, we met doing the play Future Boyfriend, by A. Vincent Ularich, at the 1st Annual Science Fiction play festival in Los Angeles. We hit it off right away and realized that not only did we have chemistry on stage, but we also worked well together! We formed Bell-House Productions and a partnership was formed that would rival Hepburn and Tracy, Ball and Arnaz, Astarie and Rogers……well we’re not there yet, but with the help of folks like you we are on our way.
Bell-House Productions raised almost $13,000 on Kickstarter and the short film version of Future Boyfriend, directed by Ben Rock, was born. It went on to have it’s world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2016, screened at 15 festivals, spent 3 months on United Airlines, and can currently be seen on YouTube through the online platform, Dust. Realizing that collaborations like these don’t come around that often, we decided to take it one step further and created the comedy web series Hill Yes, just in time for what would be the most devastating moment in American History…the 2016 election. Written by K.S. Wiswell and Directed by David Codeglia, you can check it out here:
