The Inventor
I grew up with an extreme curiosity and interest for electronics and computers, and I have built a lot of robots and machines – from old electric radio controlled cars, which I took apart, but also from Lego Technics & Meccano and some kind on new hybrid toys. I did my first soldering being only 2 years old in 1977, since I come from a family of electromechanically interest, I’m being 3rd generation.
After my school time, where I did a lot of programming and developed electronic equipment for fun. I got educated as an electrician, and later as an electronic engineer. I have worked in the space industry first with ground test equipment and later with flight equipment. I’ve worked within the solar and wind power industry, and I have been driving several innovative projects as developer, but also as project manager.
The idea
Energy Harvesting is being researched to charge batteries for backup supplies or to power low-power microprocessors and wireless radios.
In a piezoelectric transformer, a frequency is chosen to be the resonant frequency of the block, typically in the 100 kilohertz to 1 megahertz range, causing the whole bar to vibrate and generating a higher output voltage.
I have puzzled with my hybrid futuristic idea for a few years now and also investigated the most outstanding universities around the world for something similar – but their focus is simply not present in this subject. So I think it is now time to ignite this field of research.
What We Need & What You Get
We need a lot of funding due to the high cost of prototype equipment. And we need funding to get a team of the greatest people, driving this in a professional way.
The Impact
Or we can sit in our sofas and do nothing – I think not – did that – didn’t work.
Risks & Challenges
The challenges start with our mind – getting the neural plasticity to think possible thoughts so the synaptic connections of our brain changes and start a new process.
“The spread of civilisation may be likened to a fire; first, a feeble spark, next a flickering flame, then a mighty blaze, ever increasing in speed and power.”
~Nikola Tesla~
