Is it a romper designed for men? Sure. But it’s also pretty damn comfortable, and it may just be the start of a fashion revolution.
Our team has done extensive due diligence and product testing on these garments and we love the way they look and wear. We’ve also lined up production partners for every step of the journey from design to doorstep. However, no project comes completely without risk- below are the three biggest ones for us.
Product design: The biggest risk to the product itself comes into play with the fit of the garment. There may be some people who don’t like the way the RompHim looks on them, even if it’s designed exactly to spec (this is a pretty unique product, after all). Also, there is a small chance that not every garment will come in exactly at spec due to variations in the production process or in the materials we receive from our supplier.
Delivery: As with any Kickstarter, there are many parts of the production process that lend themselves to possible delays. Examples include delays in fabric shipping, manufacturing, or final delivery. While we believe we will get most (if not all) of our units shipped in July, we have listed the delivery for the Kickstarter special orders as August to provide ourselves a cushion.
Manufacturing location: Though we have identified a production partner in Chicago, if this partner is unable to satisfy demand in a timely manner we may move some of our manufacturing to Los Angeles. Regardless, the product will be Made in America.
