A platform to create a “Vault” of knowledge that can be passed to loved-ones, teaching life-lessons & preserving legacies after death.
KnowledgeWill.com is a website system that allows members to create unlimited blocks of information – text, images, files – that they can lock and give access to specific people, and release it to them on specific dates in the future.
This project will target an extremely large market of people as it solves a major problem that most all of us have – how would we pass on valuable knowledge to others IF we died tomorrow? Well right now, most of us would just accept the fact that very little would happen in that area. Most of our knowledge will just disappear along with us. The daily life-experiences I have with my 2 young daughters would obviously stop, along with my influence on them.
I knew I needed to figure out a way to preserve the knowledge I wanted to teach my kids. Not just that, but I needed to figure out a way to create these folders of knowledge and create a way to make sure they get delivered to them on the dates I want then delivered on.
Well I figured out a way to do all of this and we’re almost done building the system…
I have already invested in this venture myself and I currently have a team of extremely talented programmers, writers, and designers working on the development of KnowlegdeWill.com. We are well into the building and testing process and are ahead of schedule to launch the business in July.
The pre-order money received here will be used to help me with those costs so I can get this project launched as soon as possible. Shooting for July 1st.
Custom programming is expensive, but necessary. I’m building this for the long-haul. I have 12 years experience building websites myself, but this is much more than a WordPress site. I could have pieced together a bunch of plugins and built something myself that would have functioned close to what I think is needed. That’s not thinking longterm, in my opinion. Which is why I chose to hire a team of programmers to do this right.
This is my first go at Kickstarter. With my previous businesses, I’ve wither funded myself or got local funding. So I’m going for a low number to test the waters. Thank you so much.
With any new business, there are challenges. I’m an extremely rational and resilient founder that can overcome the most difficult of those challenges. I have a wonderful team of programmers building the website system, and I also have programming experience myself, so I can quickly take business and visionary concepts from my mind, to the drawing board, then to the programmers in terms they can relate to and understand. This background also helps me to understand any limitations between “idea” and “programming.”
The website is nearly to the testing phase already, so I’m confident I’ll be able to deliver the rewards on time or early since the rewards are memberships to the system.
