Immaculée is a client of the Hekima MFI and a member of the borrowing group Makerubi. She is 41 years old and married with 9 children, 8 of whom are school educated and one is still a toddler. She sells palm oil from her home on an avenue in the city. She started doing this work from a young age, and later launched her business with capital supplied by her husband.
Immaculée plans to buy 70 liters of oil to strengthen her activity. Her goals are to support her children’s education and ensure that they are fed.
She thanks Hekima and its partners for helping entrepreneurs who can’t use traditional banking.
Please note that some group members are holding their child.
