Meet Marjay: she is 48 years old. She went to school until third grade. She is married with 5 children. She has been operating this business for the past 18 years. In order to help her partner support the family, she is involved in a business that sells dry fish. She has no problem with her business and she describes herself as a very hardworking businesswoman.
Marjay started to sell after receiving money from her mother, and she also learned the trade from her mother. She likes her business because it helps her to receive more money on a daily basis. She wants to expand the business; therefore, she applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia to purchase more dry fish to sell. In the future, she wants to complete her house that she is building. She transports goods by car to her business site. She appreciates BRAC and Kiva.
