Risks and challenges
Risks are low. We have already gathered all of the Deaf Women who have met all of the criteria to participate in the book. We have a network of trustworthy and talented photographers who have taken on this project on top of their daily schedules.
We have taken some steps to further minimize risks, such as we already have 60+ stories of Deaf Women ready to be edited and published!
We have also decided to domesticize our publishing to try to have more control of the quality and timeline of delivery to our backers.
Challenges are prevalent in meeting the deadline that the publishers have set for us, May 9th; to complete all of the editing and submission of the stories in order to get the books out to the backers in June.
