I grew up in a lower class family of 4. My father was very abusive, both parents were drug addicts. I had to grow up pretty fast so I could help with my little brother. I always felt like I had to protect him from my Father. So, at 15, without his permission, I joined Jim Cains Fitness. Jim asked me how old I was, and then told me to keep my age to myself. Jim Cain saved my life with this gym. I joined the Army when I turned 18, and when I left, I was homeless for a few months. I showered every day at the gym, went to work, and slept under an elderly mans deck. For three months I did that. This is more than a business for me, it is more than a gym for me. It is my home.
Dave grew up the middle child of three. His Mother raised them on her own, working two jobs to support them. Born in Texas, he moved here very young. Although he didn’t come from an abusive situation, his road was tough nonetheless. He too, joined Jim Cains gym when he was 15. The more business savvy of the two of us, Dave has always been a business driven person. Where I think and act according to what my heart says, Dave is all brains. That’s pretty much the perfect combination for our business model.
This will be the best gym in Louisville, Ky. This gym saved my life.
