The communal banking group “New Alliance” will begin the first loan cycle with Kiva’s partner Pro Mujer, which is located in the downtown 3 de Mayo area. The group is made up of 10 members and is directed by a board that includes Evelin as President.
The loan that Pro Mujer offers will benefit a range of micro-businesses, including the one that Evelin owns. Currently she has a business selling cosmetics. She learned this craft on her own initiative a few years ago. The loan will be used to purchase cosmetics in bulk, which she can find at outlets in La Paz. She will then resell these items via her stall. This work allows her to support her family financially. She is single and has a son.
In this group: Evelin Paola, Abigail , Omar Antonio , Crista Sharon, Mariela, Edith Dalia , Cintya , Juana , Julieta , Santusa
