Stonehouse Jack are raising money to fund a new 4 track EP with platinum selling producer George Shilling, as well as a music video
Stonehouse Jack are Pip and Si. We are a Birmingham based rogue folk rock duo. We are raising money to fund our brand new 4 track EP, which will be recorded with platinum selling producer George Shilling (http://www.georgeshilling.com/) . Better still, if our crowdfunder is successful we will also be making a music video for our lead track with cinematographer Jason Weidner (https://vimeo.com/jweidner)
We also have great photographer Ben Pennant and talented comic artist Alexandra Craven lined up to create original EP art for our new music project, which will be called ‘On A Horse Called Reality’. Our tracks are written and our demo EP is with our new producer George Shilling, who has this to say about us:
“I met Pip at a music networking event and could tell she was serious about her music-making, and when I heard the Stonehouse Jack recordings I thought they showed terrific promise. I’d love the chance to help develop the band and produce the fantastic record that I know they are capable of making, I reckon it will be brilliant!”
Last year we released a home made EP which you can hear at http://www.stonehousejack.com/. This time we’ll be making a brand new professionally recorded 4 track EP with George, including three previously unreleased songs, as well as a proper recording of our most popular track so far – Dig Deeper.
The funds we are raising will enable us to release and market our music online too and anything we earn from our music will go back into making more new releases. It’s a great opportunity to introduce work by unknown, talented artists to new audiences. We hope you’ll support us. We’ve got some great rewards on offer if you do, including a signed copy of our new EP and the chance to be in our music video. We also have a headline gig on 29th April 2017 at 1000 Trades in Birmingham http://1000trades.org.uk/ to support our crowdfunder. Doors open at 7pm. We hope you can join us.
Please check out the rewards on offer and find out more at www.stonehousejack.com x
