We are making a 50 min non profit documentary about the first US commandos to fight in SW France. Looking for funding to purchase film archive material from ww2 and pay for music.
Please help us make this film and tell the story of the first US troops to land in Perigord region of France and liberate the land of France from German occupation.

We need this funding to pay the legal rights of the pictures/music we will use during the shooting of this documentary.
Director : Simon Holland is a broadcast tv professional who has worked in the TV industry for BBC, Discovery Ch, Nat Geo etc since 1978. He now lives in France and got involved with this project to educate and inform local French children about WW2.
Producer : Ronald Knoth is a retired Dutch nazy and NATO officer who liives in the Dordogne valley and researched the amazing story of Opereration Percy Pink. When 13 US Commandos were dropped into SW France to team up with Maquis fighters to liberate France from Germn occupaton. Ronald has many contacts in the area and has tracked down the last few remaining Maquis fighters to share their personal stories.
