Mr Car Key
As many South Africans by now have figured out, that going to a dealership to replace or purchase a new car key is an expensive trip. Majority of the nation does not know of any other way around paying these exorbitant prices set by the car dealerships.
Mr Car Key aims to alleviate this problem, by connecting suppliers with far lower overheads in the running of their business vs the large dealerships massive overheads, thus driving the costs done and making car keys much more affordable to the man on the street.
Even making an insurance claim on a lost car key can leave an unpleasant taste in ones mouth. For the first time in South Africa, getting a reasonable and fair price on the replacement of a lost car key is now widely available through Mr Car Key’s platform.
We have 11 suppliers across 7 provinces in South Africa, with a lead generation partner in place. With an excess of 15000 Google searches done in a month for car keys, it is evident that South Africa needs a truth bearer and a cost saver.

What we need
We are almost complete with the development of our system, with 95% functionality. We need 15 hours of coding done by our developer oversees to complete the full functionality of our web application. Once done, we launch.
Tipping Point R8 000 – is needed to compete what is required with the functionality to effectively offer a dual based service to the suppliers as well as the clients wishing to get a key.
Dream funding goal R20 000 – This would be the best scenario where we not only get to complete the functionality of the web app, but also get to advertise the app as to get the product out in the market and gain traction.
