This budget proves people value cooperation and prosperity more than fear and punishment.
Could Americans cooperate voluntarily without the force and coercion of government?
How should we generate revenue for the federal government if not through a direct tax?
With the CHOSE movement, we first simply want to ask some questions that challenge the basic paradigms of the world we live in today. The goal is to bring society closer to a system of mutual cooperation and further from the ‘fear and punishment’ strategy that doesn’t work and is actually counterproductive.
The documentary is currently collecting videos of people who are interested in one or more of these questions or the questions listed by the We The People Foundation. We suspect that watching attractive people ask questions is a good way to make people curious, which will help the documentary spread and satisfy a need. The documentary will paint a picture of a desperate situation for which the best remedy is greater awareness.
You are invited to check out the questions and the story behind them. If you choose to make a video, we thank you! Please reply with a comment to let us know about it. Hopefully, this project generates more videos than we can handle and some of those who read this will be interested in helping to identify the best ones.
The most important piece of this project right now is raising money for the outreach effort. The project has already spent $450 for an initial treatment and video editing for the introductory video. We will keep project contributors informed as money is spent.
Any financial or budgetary advice about the creation of a documentary would be very helpful. Without the experience of a seasoned documentary team, we risk not allocating enough funding to certain aspects of production. We are actively seeking those who have the experience and have learned what to anticipate. We are currently pinching pennies and limiting our activities to mitigate this risk.
We have found that most people understand and agree with our basic premise. However, bringing out the awareness of this issue is a very tough road to climb with a documentary. This is the first step in the path we CHOSE to change the world by ending the fear and punishment based system. We’re incredibly open to your ideas for other ways to spread awareness but the risk there is that your great ideas may take some power away from our first step.
