Oak Barrel of Eagle provides fresh and natural cuisine and delicious wines in a unique location that has a separate dining area, lounge, and wrap around patio. We have an amazing Executive Chef and make everything as scratch as possible.
Oak Barrel of Eagle began as a small catering company in Boise, Idaho. We are Mark and Kristina Anderson and are passionate about great food and excellent service. Kristina has spent most of her life in the service industry and has excelled in all positions from hosting as a young teen, to managing full service restaurants and catering facilities. With a degree in Management and Leadership, Kristina spent some time working for large corporations in Finance, Procurement, and most recently as a Global Category Manager for IS Infrastructure. After leaving the service industry, friends and co-workers would ask Kristina to help with large parties and frequently requested catering services and assistance. Being passionate about food and the togetherness that a great party brings, we began doing catering as a side business while working full time. We became a great team and the word got out and we realized we were going to have to make some decisions. We have always dreamed of having our own restaurant one day and planned our concept for many years. And so it began, we contacted a broker and the perfect location opened up. We did a lot of research, planned our projections, and decided we could make it work. We don’t have much money, only a great concept of feeding people the freshest ingredients possible and providing and experience that encourages laughter, love, and togetherness. We have already met so many wonderful people in the 6 months we have been open. So, why do we need money you ask? Well, we keep a sharp eye on the books and inventory and are always making sure we aren’t over spending. That said, it takes a lot of labor to provide the quality of food and service we provide and the word just hasn’t spread fast enough. Those that come love everything and are raving about us, but the summer was slow. We need some working capital to get us over the hump so that we can be successful.
