Ms. Prudence is a vendor of cassava flour and corn at a local central market. She is the official of the ‘banc villageois’ called “TUSHUHUDIANE” and a client of the microfinance institution Hekima. A married woman, she is 35 and the mother of five children, of whom four are students. Her initial working capital was provided by her husband, and then Hekima followed.
With this loan, she is going to pay for 1,000 kg of cassava flour and 1,000 kg of corn, as well as the transportation for it all. Her goal is to expand her business in order to serve many. “May Hekima and its partners be the happiest ones on the planet Earth for financially supporting the poor,” says Ms. Prudence.
