To empower, enable and accelerate global therapeutic solutions to the scientific community through our crowd sourcing web platform– ultimately making healthcare accessible and affordable to the global community.
Open Therapeutics is a global life sciences biotech company. Our synthetic biology-based technologies will be available on the industry’s first crowd-sourcing web platform, which focuses on eliminating obstacles to global research and collaboration by encouraging scientific communication, stimulating synergies in R&D, and significantly driving down research costs – ultimately making healthcare accessible and affordable to the global community.
Open Therapeutics mission is to reintroduce communication and collaboration to the drug and therapeutic development ecosystem as a way to drive down the cost of research and make life-saving therapies more affordable and accessible than ever before.
Innovation thrives when communication is open and knowledge is shared. At Open Therapeutics, we’re taking the spirit of open innovation and applying it to therapeutic and pharmaceutical development.
Our open-source online platform, Therapoid®, provides stakeholders from across the drug and therapeutic development industry with a resource where they can come together, share information and access knowledge and technologies to drive drug and therapeutic development forward, while our portfolio of proprietary biotechnologies provides an initial bank of technologies for drug and therapeutic developers to choose from.
Open Therapeutic’s Therapoid platform is designed to appeal to stakeholders globally from across the drug and therapeutic development landscape, including: pharmaceutical companies, scientific community, universities, health care providers, non-profits, and government agencies.

Our business model is to build up the number of users in our Therapoid web platform, along with growing the number of technologies. We believe the company will be acquired within the next 3 years by a company interested in the products we develop, as well as access to the community of research scientist built through Therapoid®.
