We are a group of filmmakers from the Northern Film School in Leeds, England, and we are about to start shooting our new documentary ‘Faith’. Due to the fact we are part of the Northern Film School, we already have all the equipment we need to start production. However, due to the fact we are students, we are struggling to fund our travel and accommodation for the shoot, as the shoot takes place in London. The money gained through IndieGogo will go towards our accommodation and travel. We only need around £500 to take our crew of 8 to London, but any money raised over this goal will be used to further the films development, for example, paying the fees for festival submissions.
As for what the film is about;
Andrew Foreshew-Cain is the world’s first openly gay married vicar in the Church of England. Through interviews and observation we will tell the story of Andrew’s identity; how his place in the gay community and in the Church affect one another and conflict with each other.
Due to it being a documentary, anything could happen! But we do have a fixed structure on what we want to capture, and how we want to capture it. Everything is set for filming, so the film will definitely be made.
We are very excited to begin work on this documentary, and we hope that you enjoy the finished result. Thank-you.
