‘Percy the Pigeon was greedy, he loved to eat and eat. his whole body was round and chubby, from his head right down to his feet.’
Reviews for Percy the Pigeon
‘This delightful tale of greed will entertain children and teach them the valuable lesson of sharing. The rhymes are fun and the cute drawings are of a high standard throughout. A great bedtime read!’ – Andy Males, author of 26 Miles to the Moon
‘This book is very easy to read for the age bracket given but I also believe that the purpose of the story is very easy to understand from a younger age and it’s a lovely rhyming book about learning how to share. My daughter loves me reading to her and she loves the “birdies” pictures in this story.’ – Claire Whitby, mother
This book is one of many that I have written. I have been writing children stories since the age of 17 and I am hoping to get as many published as possible! I appreciate any help any one can give me to make this dream a reality. I have had fantastic support so far to get my book to where it is, but now I need some extra help getting it into book stores, libraries, schools and homes, to be loved and enjoyed by as many children as possible!
Percy the Pigeon is suitable for all age ranges! The younger children will enjoy the bright illustrations and the simple flow of the rhyming pattern. It is also for the older children who understand the value of friendship and the importance of sharing. It also helps the older children understand rhyming patterns and how they work. Any child who enjoys reading and any parents who enjoy settling down with their little ones and sharing a story will enjoy this book! I’m hoping to get my book into as many schools as possible, mainstream schools, special need schools, pre schools and nurseries, across all educational settings including libraries too.
Please help me to get my book out there, I think stories are so important in a child’s life. To help with their speech and language and their imagination. It’s also important to have that one to one time with a loved one reading together, or reading with friends or even reading by themselves.
This story teaches children the importance of sharing and friendship, stories are a fantastic way of teaching children important life lessons.
And remember, no money will be charged unless I reach my target and will not be taken until the end of the campaign.
Thank you for your support and I hope you enjoy the story!

I have decided to publish Percy the Pigeon through publishing house, Britain’s Next Bestseller (BNBS). Established in 2014, they have steadily built up a respected and unique way of provide authors an alternate way of getting their work published in what is a very competitive industry. Though they offer a number of publicising packages, their main focus has always been to publish via crowd funding – allowing readers to decide the titles which get published.
I need your help and support in order to make my dream reality and get Percy out there onto book shelves and into children’s hands. I realise I am asking a lot, but also promise that the rewards I am offering will make it worth your support and I further promise that I will keep you updated every step of the way regarding Percy’s (hopeful!) journey towards publication.
Thank you for believing in me and my work. I promise to not let you down.
