iCrowdNewswire - Mar 13, 2017

American actor Benicio del Toro and Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo Milanés, among other figures of the cinema and the arts, will headline the sessions of the International Film Festival of Gibara, Cuba—previously known as the Festival del Cine Pobre (Independent Film Festival) in its 14 previous editions. “The International Film Festival of Gibara will seek from this moment on to establish a broader and plural dialogue between all possible film areas of the world. Inspired by the project promoted by the late Cuban filmmaker Humberto Solás, the contest aims to open up a broader spectrum of communication between the arts.
