Hussein is a 39-year-old married Palestinian refugee and a father of three. He currently lives with his family in a Palestinian refugee camp which is an area suffering from abject poverty.
He dropped out of school at an early age and had to work in a bakery to make a living so he could help his family. Hussein worked hard in this business for 20 years until he opened his own bakery 6 years ago.
He is a previous borrower from Kiva’s field partner, Al Majmoua and this is his 10th cycle of loans with the association. He will be using this entrepreneur refugee loan to buy a dough rolling press machine and an electric generator which would improve his business’ productivity.
By contributing to this loan you would be supporting Hussein’s business and help in improving his living conditions.
