Matilda is a quiet, very polite old lady who has worked all her life to help support others. She works, when she can, as a cleaner but the work is strenuous and she is old now. Her one wish is to get a sewing machine to be able to fix clothes to make ends meet, as opposed to cleaning, as it requires less strength from her body. If you could help her, it would make her incredibly happy. I have known her for a few years and her dream is to have a sewing machine. You would make Matilda so glad.
A Sewing Machine For Matilda
Matilda is an elderly lady who is one of the sweetest, kindest old ladies I have ever met. She wouldn’t hurt a fly (she is actually scared of insects) but loves helping people. Though she has no savings to speak of, she helps to support others by working as a cleaner. If she does not work, she cannot eat or help her dependents.
Matilda is getting old now so cleaning is getting more and more difficult. Her dream, which she has had for many years now, is to have a sewing machine that she can use to fix people’s clothes and make ends meet this way. She has no savings and would never in her lifetime be able to afford a sewing machine. If you could help her get her dream sewing machine, that would make her incredibly happy.
The Milestones
Tipping Point (R2300) : ____________________________________
The tipping point will provide her with the sewing machine, it costs R2199 at the moment, or $164. I know Matilda will have a huge smile on her face for a long time as she could effectively retire from the hard labour of cleaning and take sewing as her way of supporting herself.
Dream funding Goal: (R5000) : She will be able to buy supplies and sewing kits to further her business.
If Matilda could get this amount, she could buy some supplies to get her on her way to sewing her dream.
If you can help, we will send you a couple of pictures of the happy old lady passionately following her dream.

I am a simple man who tries to help others if I am able. If I am not able, I try to see if there is another way to do so.
