Khadija is a 32-year-old lady, living with her spouse and five children in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is pictured with her husband. She wants to provide better living facilities for her children, but it seems impossible in the absence of a profitable source of income.
Her husband has been driving a motorized rickshaw for several years; his income is insufficient to feed his entire family. He has to maintain the rickshaw’s body, but he does not have sufficient capital to fix the problem. Therefore, Khadija has requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan. She will use the loan to enable her husband to buy a body for the motorized rickshaw.
She thanks Kiva and the field partner for this honorable support.
