I have been dedicated to the Community movement since 2009 when I was one of the founding members of a feminist cooperative house in SE Portland called The Breakfast House (featured in this article).
Since then I have lived in community houses, traveled to intentional communities around the country and world, and have spent many years volunteering with Network For New Culture, a community of its own.
Now I am giving my all to a new project to support the growth of Intentional Communities – ReRadical Village Camp (RVC). The idea for this gathering is a result of years overhearing my peers say something along the lines of “I want to live in community… some day.” But that someday doesn’t seem to come around very often. I spent these years asking myself, “What is keeping us from living in community?” without many satisfactory answers. Though, when I changed my question to, “How do we get closer to this dream of community?” the idea for ReRadical Village Camp was born!
Your donation to this campaign will help RVC to come to life. You will be a part of a legacy that supports bringing people together to live in communities that are sustainable, harmonious, and healing for both people and planet alike.
The movement towards living in community is direct action towards creating a world that is more just, abundant, peaceful, and connected.
Here is a breakdown of where your funds will go:
