Paris, November 18, 2016 —Junior Chamber International (JCI) and The International Chamber of Commerce – World Chambers Federation (ICC-WCF) renewed their 32-year partnership yesterday through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at the ICC Global Headquarters.
JCI and ICC-WCF first signed a cooperation agreement in 1984, which was renewed on the 20th Anniversary of the partnership in 2004. This year’s renewal marks the continuum of what has become a flourishing relationship that has contributed to the advancement of global economic and social progress through joint action that provides targeted solutions to global challenges.
“We are extremely pleased to continue our partnership with Junior Chamber International, a leader in empowering youth to become positive agents of change. Our 32-year collaboration affirms our aligned vision of responsibility toward the advancement of global economic and social progress,” said ICC Secretary General John Danilovich.
Moving forward, the partnership will foster the empowerment of young people by providing tools, resources, skills and networks that enable them to influence policy and economic decisions and work to advance the seventeen Global Goals for Sustainable Development by creating social and business solutions to these long-term targets.
