Wendbenedo Pade Group’s story

Wendbenedo Pade just finished its first Kiva loan. The repayments were made normally. Bernadette, the representative member of the group, says thank you to all the Kiva personnel and lenders for the support. With this loan, she was able to pay for cassava to process into atiéké [fermented and dried cassava couscous] to sell. She had a profit enabling her to pay for clothing for her children, cover a few family expenses, and increase her business in particular.

Bernadette still has need of loans to continue her work selling atiéké, so as to have good sales and a fuller life.
